Jeffrey C. Dillman, CFA
Managing Director
Jeff Dillman is a senior relationship manager in the Atlantic Trust Washington, D.C. office, with more than 31 years of experience managing portfolios for high net worth individuals and families. Previously, Jeff served as a principal and senior client account manager for Bessemer Trust Company of Delaware, which he joined in 2008 from BNY Mellon Wealth Management. In that role, he was responsible for managing the region’s largest team of investment and fiduciary officers, as well as several significant client relationships. Prior to those roles, Jeff was a senior investment officer at U.S. Trust Company. Jeff earned a Bachelor of Arts from Duke University and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. He serves as treasurer of the Delaware Children’s Museum and as a member of the finance committee for the Rodney Street Tennis and Tutoring Association.
Bruce D. Katz, CFP®
Managing Director and Director of Strategic Alliances
Bruce Katz is the director of strategic alliances for Atlantic Trust, with more than 26 years of industry experience. In this role, he works to strengthen existing relationships and identifies and develops new opportunities for business alliances with external partners for Atlantic Trust’s 11 locations nationwide. Bruce is also a managing director responsible for numerous client relationships throughout the firm. He works with individuals, endowments, institutions and intermediaries. Prior to joining Atlantic Trust in 2001, Bruce served as a first vice president for Avatar Associates and as director of the Capital Management Group, a division dedicated to high net worth individuals, institutions and their financial professionals. He was also a member of Avatar's investment committee. Previously, Bruce served as a vice president with Mitchell Hutchins Asset Management, Inc., and started his professional career with Ernst & Young. He earned a Bachelor of Science in accounting and finance from the State University of New York at Binghamton and holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation. Bruce serves on the boards of and volunteers with several charitable organizations.
Dee Ann Schedler
Managing Director
Dee Ann Schedler is a senior relationship manager and head of Atlantic Trust's Washington, D.C. office, with more than 25 years of industry experience. As the investment specialist for client relationships, Dee Ann works closely with clients to formulate objectives, determine an appropriate asset allocation and implement the investment plan. Dee Ann joined Atlantic Trust from SunTrust Bank in 2004, where she served as regional managing director of the personal asset management division. In this role, she was responsible for the management of the division as well as new business development for the greater Washington, D.C. and Baltimore regions. Prior to joining SunTrust, Dee Ann was a managing director and senior portfolio manager with Riggs & Co. private client division, where she managed more than $270 million for high net worth individuals. Previously, she served as a portfolio manager at ASB Capital Management, managing more than $400 million in institutional funds. Dee Ann is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and a member of the CFA Institute of Washington, D.C.
Steven W. Smith
Managing Director
Steven Smith is a senior relationship manager, business development professional and head of the Washington, D.C. office, with more than 23 years of experience in assisting high net worth individuals and families. He joined Atlantic Trust from Citi Private Bank after a long tenure with the United States Trust Company (US Trust). In this role, he was responsible for business development and relationship management across the country. Steven earned a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Master of Business Administration from Millsaps College. In addition, he is president of the board of the Sitar Arts Center and serves on the board of trustees of Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi. Previously, Steven served on the boards of the Cathedral Choral Society, Campagna Center, National Aquarium of Washington, D.C./Baltimore and Kennedy Center Circles. He is a member of The Economic Club of Washington.
Donna M. Cole
Vice President
Donna Cole is a senior client service manager in Atlantic Trust's Washington, D.C. office, with more than 12 years of industry experience. In this role, she works closely with relationship managers to provide comprehensive client service, including the opening of personal accounts and trusts, ongoing account administration and fiduciary oversight of accounts. Prior to joining the firm in 2010, she was a client services and support officer for U.S. Trust. Donna earned a Bachelor of Arts in English literature from Tuskegee University and is a graduate of the Cannon Financial Institute's trust school. She volunteers as an employment specialist for the Metropolitan Community Development Corporation and as a tutor for the Prince Georges Literacy Council.
Indranie Singh
Vice President
Indranie Singh is a senior client service manager in Atlantic Trust's Washington, D.C. office, with more than 30 years of industry experience. In this role, she works closely with relationship managers to provide comprehensive client service to high net worth clients. Prior to joining Atlantic Trust, she was director of client services at 8th Street Investments, LLC where she was responsible for all client service matters. Prior to 8th Street, she worked as a client service officer and vice president at U.S. Trust Company on many complex relationships. Indranie also spent 10 years as a senior client service relationship manager and vice president on a $1.5 billion custody relationship at M & T Bank Investment Group. She is working towards her CFP® certification and has completed three of the five modules – Estate/Tax/Insurance and Financial Planning and covered coursework for Investment and Retirement Planning. Indranie earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences with a concentration in accounting from Northern Virginia Community College. She also earned a Diploma in Banking and Management from the American Institute of Banking in Washington, D.C. and a General Certificate of Education from the University of London.
Damara R. Jones
Associate Vice President
Damara Jones is a client service administrator and office manager in the Washington, D.C. office of Atlantic Trust, with more than five years of industry experience. In this role, she works closely with senior relationship managers to provide oversight of client accounts, including administration, reporting and analysis. In addition to these tasks, she helps the Washington, D.C. office plan and achieve their marketing objectives by directing and leveraging resources from within the firm. Prior to joining Atlantic Trust in 2007, Damara worked as a marketing services coordinator at WilmerHale law firm and earned a Bachelor of Science with a concentration in communication from Morgan State University. She also volunteers as a business manager for a community singing group called Voices of Praise in the Washington, D.C. area.
