Kenneth G. Pollard, CFA, CIC
Managing Director
Ken Pollard is a team executive and co-manager of the Chicago office of Atlantic Trust. In this role, Ken is responsible for the supervision of client portfolios, including pension and profit sharing plans, endowment funds, charitable and religious organizations, individuals, trusts and foundations. He joined Atlantic Trust in 1991 and now has over 26 years of industry experience. Ken earned a Bachelor of Science in business from Indiana University-Bloomington and a Master of Business Administration in finance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst and Chartered Investment Counselor designations and is a member of the CFA Institute, the Investment Analyst Society of Chicago and the Chicago Council of Foreign Relations.

Jon E. Henderson, CFA, CIC
Managing Director
Jon Henderson is a team executive with Atlantic Trust and serves as co-manager of the Chicago office. He joined the firm in 1988 and provides integrated wealth management solutions, including investment, tax, financial and philanthropic planning for high net worth individuals, trusts and related institutions. Jon earned a Bachelor of Arts with honors from DePaul University and served as president of the Pi Gamma Mu Social Sciences Honor Society. He also earned a Juris Doctorate from DePaul’s College of Law and a Masters of Business Administration in finance from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business. Jon holds the Chartered Financial Analyst and Chartered Investment Counselor designations. He is an active member of and sits on the Board of Directors for the Kelley School of Business Alumni Association. Additionally, Jon is a member of the Illinois Bar, CFA Society of Chicago, CFA Institute and the Investment Advisors Association among others.

Peter Barrett, CIC
Senior Vice President
Peter Barrett is a portfolio manager with 52 years of industry experience, serving the financial needs and objectives of high-net-worth individuals, institutions, trusts, foundations, endowment funds and pension and profit sharing plans with individually tailored portfolios. He began his career with Stein Roe & Farnham in 1958 after two years in the U.S. Army with the Judge Advocate General’s office. Peter earned a Bachelor of Science in economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and his Juris Doctorate from Northwestern University School of Law. He is a member of the Investment Analyst’s Society of Chicago and the Illinois Bar. Also, Peter is chairman of the Income/Convertible Securities Ratings Committee. Additionally, he holds the Chartered Investment Counselor designation.

Pamela D. Cooley
Senior Associate
Pamela Cooley is a portfolio administrator in Atlantic Trust’s Chicago office with 23 years of industry experience. In this role, she works closely with senior portfolio managers providing client service, ongoing account administration and client reporting for high net worth individuals, families, foundations and endowments. Prior to joining the firm in 2001, she worked as an investment specialist with Ariel Capital Management. Pamela earned a Bachelor of Arts in business from Lewis University.

Charles R. Dale, Jr., CFA, CIC
Managing Director
Chuck Dale joined Atlantic Trust in 1993 as a portfolio manager. He is responsible for providing investment counseling and wealth management expertise to a broad base of high-net-worth clients including families, pension and profit sharing plans, endowment funds and foundations through the implementation of tailored wealth management solutions. He began his career at Refco, Inc. on the trading floor of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange as an arbitrage specialist. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics from the University of Michigan and a Master of Business Administration in finance and accounting from the University of Chicago. Chuck holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® and Chartered Investment Counselor designations. He currently is a member of the CFA Institute, the CFA Society of Chicago, the Investment Adviser Association, the University of Michigan Alumni Association, the University of Michigan Victors Club and the University of Chicago Alumni Association. Chuck also serves on the boards of the Illinois Education Foundation and Little Angels Christian Preschool, as well as the Enrollment Monitoring Committee of the Board of Education for the Barrington Community Unit School District 220.

Thomas E. Keim, CIC
Senior Vice President
Tom Keim joined Atlantic Trust in 1960 and is now a portfolio manager with 50 years of industry experience providing investment advice for individuals, trusts, religious institutions, foundations, endowment funds and pension and profit sharing plans. He is actively involved in the Art Institute of Chicago, the Yale Alumni Class Council and other local community groups and fundraising organizations. Tom earned a Bachelor of Arts from Yale University and a Master of Business Administration in finance and marketing from Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration. Additionally, Tom holds the Chartered Investment Counselor designation.

Kathryn L. Martens, CFA, CIC
Managing Director
Kathy Martens joined Atlantic Trust in 1998 as a portfolio manager and is responsible for providing wealth counseling services to a broad base of high net worth private clients through the implementation of tailored wealth management solutions. She began her career at Ameritrust Company in Ohio as a corporate banking representative. In 1992, Kathy joined Morningstar, Inc. as product manager responsible for the design and development of high level software products. Prior to joining Atlantic Trust, Kathy was a portfolio Manager and director of research at Cedar Hill Associates. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in finance, accounting and economics from Baldwin-Wallace College and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago. Kathy also earned the Chartered Financial Analysis designation in 1996. Kathy is a director of the Infant Welfare Society of Chicago and serves as the chair of the Investment Committee. Kathy is also on the Executive Committee and serves as treasurer for the Women’s Board of the Adler Planetarium. She currently is a member of the Association of Investment Management and research and the Investment Analysts Society of Chicago.

Mark M. McKinley, CFA
Managing Director
Mark McKinley is a senior portfolio manager with 21 years of experience in the financial services industry and 16 years of experience in investment management. He is responsible for the management and client communication on a variety of taxable and tax-exempt client relationships. Previous to joining Atlantic Trust in 1998, Mark worked for over eight years with The Northern Trust Company, where he was a portfolio manager for Northern Investment Counselors. While at Northern Trust, he was chairman of the black book review and fixed income committees and a member of the equity committee. Mark graduated cum laude from Denison University, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in economics and political science and also received a Master of Business Administration with majors in economics and finance from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. He is a member of the CFA Institute, the Investment Analysts Society of Chicago and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. Mark has also served as a board member of the OLPH Endowment Fund, is active in the Kellogg Alumni Club of Chicago and has been a basketball and softball coach in his local community.

Robert P. McNeill, CIC
Executive Vice President
Robert McNeill is an executive vice president of Atlantic Trust with 43 years experience providing customized personal service to high-net-worth families. His responsibilities at Atlantic Trust's legacy firm, Stein Roe Investment Counsel (SRIC), have included serving as managing partner on the executive committee, chairman of the investment policy committee, founder of Stein Roe International, and president of the Stein Roe Foundation. He is on the board of Catholic Charities of Chicago, Big Shoulders Fund, Hadley School for the Blind and Joan B. Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies. Since 1998, he also has been part of a leadership program for Chicago Inner City Schools, has served as a board member of the Association of American Rhodes Scholars, and has participated as a voting member for 25 years on the U.S. Rhodes Scholarship state and regional selection committees. He was chairman (1991-97) and is now a member of the board of governors of the Institute for the International Education of Students, one of the nation's finest study-abroad programs. He is currently on the executive committee of the board of the Chicago Council of Global Affairs and is a financial counselor to the Chicago Community Trust. Robert earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Notre Dame, where he graduated summa cum laude and was valedictorian. He also received a graduate degree in economics and law from the University of Oxford (New College), where he studied after winning a Rhodes Scholarship. Additionally, Robert holds the Chartered Investment Counselor designation.

Rebecca W. Milliman
Senior Vice President
Rebecca Milliman is a wealth strategies professional and fiduciary representative for the Chicago office of Atlantic Trust. In this role, she is responsible for the development of integrated wealth management plans for clients and provides the fiduciary administration for individual trusts and foundations. She also sits on the firm’s trust committee, a group charged with reviewing the actions of the local trust committees regarding asset reviews in discretionary accounts and the actions of the trust discretionary committee. Rebecca now has 11 years of industry experience and joined Atlantic Trust in 2002 from Frye Louis Capital Management, Inc., where she was a firm associate responsible for the ongoing review and assessment of wealthy family financial affairs. Prior to that, Rebecca practiced law with Katten Muchin Zavis as an associate in the estate planning and tax department. She earned a law degree from the John Marshall Law School, graduating summa cum laude, and a Bachelor of Arts from Drake University. Rebecca also serves on the women’s board of Lake Forest Hospital in Illinois.

Nicole L. Mirowski
Senior Associate
Nicole Mirowski is a portfolio administrator in Atlantic Trust's Chicago office, where she works closely with senior portfolio managers providing comprehensive client service, client reporting and account administration for individuals, families and foundations. Prior to joining Atlantic Trust in 2007, Nicole earned her Bachelor of Science in economics with a minor in mathematics from Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville.

Kira T. Pistello
Associate Vice President
Kira Pistello is an administrative manager with more than five years of industry experience. In this role, she works closely with the Chicago investment managers and portfolio managers providing oversight of client accounts, including administration, reporting and internal processes. Kira began her career with the firm as a portfolio administrator in 2005, and she earned a Bachelor of Liberal Arts in anthropology from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana.

Nolan R. Robinett
Associate Vice President
Nolan Robinett is an analyst with seven years of industry experience in Atlantic Trust's Chicago office. In this role, he analyzes investment portfolios by closely examining financial needs, setting objectives and determining risk tolerance in order to create an appropriate asset allocation and investment plan. Prior to joining Atlantic Trust in 2006, Nolan was a consultant at FactSet Research Systems and served as an analyst at RIM Finance, LLC. Nolan earned a Bachelor of Science in finance from DePaul University and is currently pursuing a CFP certification from the Boston Institute of Finance at Boston University.

Margaret L. Stadler
Senior Associate
Margie Stadler is a portfolio administrator at the Chicago office with 23 years of industry experience. In this role, she works closely with senior portfolio managers providing client service, ongoing account administration and client reporting. Prior to joining Atlantic Trust in 2000, she worked as a portfolio accountant with Lincoln Capital Management. Margie earned a Bachelor of Science in management with a focus on finance from Purdue University.

Scott Vogg, CFA, CIC
Managing Director
Scott Vogg is a senior portfolio manager with 19 years of experience in the financial services and investment management industry. Scott is responsible for managing the entire wealth counseling process and relationship for high-net-worth clients as well as related institutions, endowments, and foundations. In this role, he is responsible for providing proactive portfolio management, financial planning, wealth and estate planning strategies, and all related services for his clients. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Iowa and a Master of Business Administration from Indiana University. Scott holds the Chartered Investment Counselor and the Chartered Financial Analyst designations, and is a member of the CFA Institute and the Investment Analyst Society of Chicago.

Gregory B. Campbell
Senior Vice President
Greg Campbell is general counsel for the registered investment adviser of Atlantic Trust, handling legal and regulatory matters for the firm. He is also a member of Atlantic Trust’s Leadership Counsel. He has served in various capacities since joining Atlantic Trust in 2004, including chief compliance officer for the registered investment adviser of Atlantic Trust and the Atlantic Whitehall Funds. Greg has 16 years of industry experience and prior to joining Atlantic Trust, served as chief compliance officer and compliance attorney for the investment management department of William Blair & Company, L.L.C. and chief compliance officer of the William Blair Funds beginning in 1986. Previously, he was a staff attorney for the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and attorney/investigator for FINRA. Greg received a Bachelor of Science in finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Juris Doctorate from IIT/Chicago-Kent College of Law with honors. He is admitted to practice in Illinois.

Kenneth J. Kozanda
Chief Administrative Officer
Kenneth Kozanda serves as chief administrative officer, is a managing director, a member of Atlantic Trust’s Executive Management Committee and a director of Invesco National Trust Company. With over 26 years of industry experience, Ken is responsible for certain client relationship teams and also oversees the financial direction and administrative activities of the firm. Previously, Ken was on the board of managers and served as the chief operating and chief financial officer of Stein Roe Investment Counsel LLC, prior to its acquisition by Invesco. He has also served as director of financial analysis for GATX Corporation, where he was charged with the management of multiple financial disciplines. Prior to joining the firm in 1984, he began his career as a staff accountant with Arthur Andersen & Company. Ken earned a Bachelor of Science magna cum laude from Northern Illinois University. He also earned a Master of Business Administration magna cum laude from DePaul University. Additionally, Ken has earned the Certified Public Accountant designation. Ken has also been active in community affairs serving on the local Planning Commission and as a Big Brother.

Alfred F. Kugel, CFA, CIC
Chief Investment Strategist
Al Kugel is the chief investment strategist of Atlantic Trust and has 56 years of industry experience. He is a member of the firm's Investment Committee, which develops the recommended allocation between asset classes. Al is also the primary spokesperson for the firm and is a frequent guest on CNBC. His comments often appear in the print media, including the Wall Street Journal, Chicago Tribune, Los Angeles Times, and Dallas Morning News. Additionally, he is regularly quoted by CBS Radio News, Bloomberg and Reuters. Al began his career with Stein Roe & Farnham in 1953 as an equity analyst trainee and has served in various roles in the firm, including junior analyst, senior analyst, and director of research. He has also served as a member of the investment policy, equity selection and executive committees. Al earned a Bachelor of Science from Washington University in St. Louis and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst and Chartered Investment Counselor designations.
