David L. Donabedian, CFA
Chief Investment Officer
Dave Donabedian is chief investment officer of Atlantic Trust, returning to the firm in 2009 after serving as chief investment officer for Ashbridge Investment Management, LLC since 2006. Previously, he worked with Atlantic Trust for ten years – from 1996 to 2006 – as managing director and chief economist. Over that period, he served as a key member of our firm’s Asset Allocation, Multi-Manager and Investment Policy Committees and led our Baltimore and Washington, DC offices. Since leaving our firm to become CIO at Ashbridge, Donabedian has expanded his experience, establishing and implementing broad investment policy across the firm, including policy development, asset allocation and manager selection. He also served as chairman of Ashbridge’s Investment Committee. Donabedian received a Bachelor of Science in economics and a Bachelor of Arts, with honors, from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He subsequently earned a Master of Business Administration from Columbia University Graduate School of Business with a concentration in finance and money markets. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of the CFA Institute.

Lisa M. Garcia
Director of Fiduciary Services
Lisa Garcia serves as the director of Fiduciary Services for Atlantic Trust and as a managing director for the Boston office. With more than 25 years of industry experience, she is responsible for the organization’s centralized oversight of fiduciary activities and the daily administration of its private investment funds. Since joining the firm in 2003, Lisa has served in several positions, including chief risk officer and director of tax, and she has been a member of the Fiduciary Services team. Prior to coming to Atlantic Trust, Lisa served as manager of Client Services at Loring, Wolcott, & Coolidge, a principal in the Charitable Gifts Office of State Street Global Advisors, and held positions in various capacities at Mellon Private Wealth Management, including stints as a vice president and manager of the Fiduciary Tax Department and team leader for the Planned Giving and Wholesale Trust Departments. Lisa began her career at Coopers & Lybrand in New York and is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Manhattan College, a Master of Science in Taxation with a Certificate of Tax Specialization, and a Master of Business Administration in Business Ethics, with distinction, from Bentley College. She serves on the Audit and Finance Committee of the New England Organ Bank in Newton, Massachusetts and is the chair of the Hospitality Committee at Grace Episcopal Church.

Stephen A. Harris
Chief Compliance Officer
Stephen Harris is the Chief Compliance Officer for Atlantic Trust Company. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the compliance program through policy review, testing and monitoring. Steve has eight years of industry experience and joined Atlantic Trust in 2005 from RSM McGladrey, Inc., where he was a senior associate, specializing in risk management and internal audit, leading reviews of trust administration, trust operations and investment management. Prior to this, Steve was a senior staff auditor for The Northern Trust Company in Chicago, Illinois. Steve earned a Bachelor of Science in finance from Indiana University, Kelley School of Business and a Master of Business Administration from Babson College, with honors. He is also a Certified Fiduciary and Investment Risk Specialist (CFIRS).

Jeffrey S. Thomas, CFA
Vice Chairman
Jeff Thomas is vice chairman of Atlantic Trust and an Invesco managing director. He joined the firm in 1986 and served as chief investment officer for more than 20 years before being appointed to his current role, where he works closely with significant client relationships across the firm. Previously, Jeff held senior positions at Scudder, Stevens & Clark and New England Merchants Bank. He began his career as an investment officer at The Northern Trust Company. Jeff is a member of the Boston Security Analysts Society, a past member of the Bank Analysts Association of Boston and former president of the Boston Media Analysts Group. He has served as trustee and chairman of the Finance Committee of Newton-Wellesley Hospital, and is currently a director of the Newton-Wellesley Hospital Charitable Foundation. He was also a board member for The Winsor School and is a member of the board of the Handel and Haydn Society. Jeff earned a bachelor of science in finance from Miami University and a master of business administration in finance from the University of Chicago, and also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Thomas N. Riley, CFA
Managing Director
Tom Riley is a senior portfolio and client relationship manager providing comprehensive investment and wealth planning expertise for families and individuals. As director of client services with 29 years of industry experience, Tom is responsible for the leadership and coordination of the client service teams within Atlantic Trust’s Boston office. Prior to joining Atlantic Trust in 1993, Tom was a global equity analyst for Scudder, Stevens & Clark, providing in-depth fundamental equity research across a broad range of industries and supporting multiple investment disciplines. Tom is a member of the board of trustees of Babson College and a former member of the board of trustees for the Cambridge School of Weston, where he currently serves as chair of the Investment Committee. Tom also serves as a director of the Chaffin Fund, an educational foundation that provides need-based scholarships for college tuition assistance. Tom's professional memberships include the Boston Security Analysts Society and the CFA Institute. He is also involved with numerous community organizations. Tom earned his bachelor of science and master of business administration with honors from Babson College and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Rajesh Advani
Vice President
Rajesh Advani joined Atlantic Trust in 2001 and serves as a portfolio and relationship manager. As an integral member of the wealth management team, his primary responsibilities are to develop and implement investment strategies that help individuals, families and foundations reach their financial and investment goals. Rajesh has eight years of experience in the financial industry and before joining Atlantic Trust, he worked as a global custody analyst at Mellon Financial and at HarbourVest Partners as an assistant manager in partnership performance. Rajesh earned a bachelor of arts in finance from Bentley College and holds the NASD series 7 license.

Kimberly A. Benjaminsen
Managing Director
Kimberly Benjaminsen is a senior relationship manager with over 20 years of experience in the trust and investment management industry. In this role, her primary focus is providing comprehensive client service through investment and wealth management solutions that incorporate estate and tax planning strategies. Kimberly began her career at State Street Bank & Trust Company, where she was a trust officer and portfolio manager. Most recently, Kimberly was an associate vice president at Eastern Bank & Trust Company. She earned a Bachelor of Science from Brigham Young University and is a graduate of the New England School of Banking at Williams College. Kimberly is a member of the Boston Estate Planning Council, where she serves on the membership committee, and she is a member of Boston Women in Finance. Kimberly also serves as the director of scholarships for the Boston Chapter of the BYU Management Society and volunteers on her church’s Public Affairs Committee in greater Boston.

Edward C. Bunn
Managing Director
Ted Bunn is a senior relationship manager with 13 years of experience in the financial industry. In this role, his primary focus is comprehensive client service and fiduciary oversight of individual trusts, foundations and endowments. Prior to joining Atlantic Trust in 2002, Ted served as head of the personal trust administration group at Scudder Trust Company. He began his career as a trust officer and associate trust counsel at State Street Bank and Trust Company. He graduated with honors from Connecticut State University and earned a Juris Doctorate from Suffolk University Law School. Ted serves on the Planned Giving Committee of South Shore Hospital and is active in his local community, serving on several of his town’s board. He also chairs the Human Rights Committee for Road to Responsibility, a non-profit organization that helps mentally challenged adults live within their communities.

Elizabeth DeLaitsch
Associate Vice President
As an associate relationship manager, Elizabeth DeLaitsch collaborates with a group of senior relationship managers and managing directors to provide high quality, comprehensive service to some of Atlantic Trust's largest family office clients. She is a graduate of the Cannon Financial Institute Trust School I and has nine years of industry experience. Elizabeth began working towards her Certified Financial Planner certification in the spring of 2008 and plans to take the certification exam in the summer of 2010. Prior to joining Atlantic Trust in December of 2005, she worked for Hale and Dorr Wealth Advisors LLC as a client service specialist and Fiduciary Trust Co. International as an administration officer. Elizabeth earned a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Spanish and a minor in business administration from Alfred University.

Carol A. DeLorme
Senior Associate
As a senior client service manager with 20 years of industry experience, Carol DeLorme works to meet the needs of Atlantic Trust’s high net worth clients. In this role, she works closely with relationship managers to service and maintain client relationships and also oversees administrative office tasks. Prior to joining Atlantic Trust in 2000, Carol was employed at Boston Safe Deposit and Trust as an operations manager. Carol holds a certification in computerized accounting. In her spare time Carol volunteers with Catholic Charities, an organization that serves local communities in times of need.

Alan S. Fields
Managing Director
Alan Fields is a senior portfolio and client relationship manager responsible for helping individuals, families, foundations, and endowments define their financial and investment goals and implement strategies to reach them. Previous to joining Atlantic Trust in 2004, Alan served as chairman of the private client group at Harbor Capital Management, a company he founded in 1979. Previously, he served as an officer and portfolio manager with Phoenix Investment Counsel of Boston. Prior to joining Phoenix, Alan was a portfolio manager with Hornblower Asset Management. He now has 45 years of industry experience but began his career as a research analyst with Manufacturers Hanover Trust Company. Alan is an active member of the Boston Community, where he is director of the Josiah W. Hayden Recreational Centre, trustee of the Town of Lexington Retirement Fund, and chairman of the trustees of Public Trusts in Lexington. Additionally, Alan is a member of the Boston Committee on Foreign Relations and serves on the investment committees of Wellesley College, the Combined Jewish Philanthropies and the Town of Lexington Pension Fund. Alan also is a member of Atlantic Trust’s Asset Allocation Committee, as well as the firm’s Multi-Manager Investment Team. He received a bachelor of arts and a master of business administration from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, where he currently serves as a director of the UNC-Chapel Hill Center for Jewish Studies and member of the Board of Visitors.

Lizabeth P. Fisher
Senior Vice President
Lizabeth Fisher is a senior relationship manager in Atlantic Trust's Boston office with 17 years of experience in the financial services industry. She is responsible for several aspects of the client wealth management experience, including business development, trust administration, portfolio management and estate and financial planning. Since joining the firm in 1992, Lizabeth has been responsible for various roles, including the implementation and organization of the firm's customized client reporting. She also has served as a member of Atlantic Trust's Multi-Manager Investment Team. Lizabeth is a member of the board of directors of Massachusetts Adoption Resource Exchange and a member of the Boston Estate Planning Council. She earned a Bachelor of Science with a concentration in accounting and economics from Babson College in Wellesley, MA, and a Master of Business Administration from Boston University.

Martina A. R. Frangis
Managing Director
Martina Frangis is a senior relationship manager with 12 years of experience in trust and portfolio administration. She supports a team that cares for some of Boston’s more complex family relationships. Martina works closely with clients’ attorneys and accountants and oversees the fiduciary issues and general administration of those relationships. She is a member of the Firm’s Trust Committee and Discretionary Distribution Committee. Prior to joining Atlantic Trust in 2001, Martina served as an assistant vice president in the trust department of Citizens Bank and she began her career in the trust department of Fleet Bank. Martina received her bachelor of arts cum laude from Salve Regina University and a Juris Doctorate from Roger Williams University School of Law. Martina is involved in development for the Philanthropy Department of Women & Infants’ Hospital in Providence.

Brian. A. St. Germain
Associate Vice President
As an associate relationship manager with 15 years of industry experience, Brian St. Germain implements asset allocation strategies for client portfolios and creates customized, comprehensive client reports. Originally employed in Atlantic Trust's operations department, he transitioned to client service in 2004. Previous to joining the firm in 1999, he worked in client services at Putnam Investments and as a senior trade specialist at Brown Brothers Harriman. As graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, he holds a bachelor of science in aeronautical science. Brian also serves on the board of directors for the Oxford Little League.

Kimberly D. Gluck, CFA
Managing Director
Kim Gluck serves as a senior relationship manager, bringing 23 years of portfolio management and client relationship management experience to our firm. Prior to joining Atlantic Trust in 2005, Kim held various positions during her ten years at State Street Global Advisors, including senior portfolio manager and product engineer. Kim was instrumental in the development of the large cap socially responsible equity strategy and also helped to launch State Street Global Advisors’ first environmentally aware equity strategy. She earned her bachelor of arts in economics with honors from Middlebury College and spent her junior year abroad studying at the London School of Economics. She holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the Boston Security Analysts Society and the CFA Institute. Kim is actively involved in the community, serving as a trustee and assistant treasurer of Mount Auburn Cemetery, a member of the investment committee of the United Methodist Foundation of New England and a member of the investment and pastoral relations committees for the Second Church of Newton. She also serves on the Finance Committee of The Boston Club, a group dedicated toward the advancement of women as leaders, and on the Investment Committee of the Maranyundo Initiative, an international partnership of educators, government leaders and dedicated visionaries whose aim is to help Rwandans forge a bright future for their people.

Mark R. Gudaitis, CFA
Managing Director
Mark Gudaitis is a senior relationship manager with 21 years of industry experience who works closely with other members of our client service team in an effort to build client relationships as a trusted advisor. Prior to joining Atlantic Trust in 2008, Mark was most recently with Gannett Welsh & Kotler, LLC, where he was responsible for building and managing the firm’s private client business along with three other professionals, including the CEO. In addition, Mark held key positions as co-manager of the GW&K Dividend Plus Strategy and as a member of GW&K's investment committee and executive committee. Prior to joining GW&K in 2000, Mark held analytical positions with Scudder Kemper Investments, worked actively within the private client and institutional business as an investment consultant, and started his career with Boston Financial & Equity Corporation as a credit analyst. Mark earned a bachelor of science in finance from Boston College and has earned the Certified Financial Analyst designation.

Julia M. Hardigan

Julia Hardigan is an administrative assistant and client service specialist in Atlantic Trust’s Boston office. In this role, she works closely with relationship managers to provide client service and ongoing account administration, while also assisting in overseeing day-to-day office administration tasks. Prior to joining Atlantic Trust in 2008, she worked as a legal assistant at the Law Firm of Martin, Magnuson, McCarthy & Kenney.

Christine L. Lucero, CFP®
Associate Vice President
Christine Lucero is a wealth strategies professional in the Boston office. She is responsible for the development of integrated wealth management solutions and provides comprehensive estate and financial planning services to clients. Prior to joining Atlantic Trust, Christine was an Estate Planning Specialist with Fidelity Personal Investments. There she provided guidance to Fidelity Private Client Group on estate and stock option planning and received an award for Excellence in Action. Christine earned a Bachelor of Arts from Boston College and a Juris Doctorate with Honors from Suffolk University Law School. In addition, she is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certificant. Christine is a member of the Young Lawyers Division of the American Bar Association and the ABA Section of Real Property, Trust and Estate Law.

Lisa L. O'Connor

Lisa O'Connor joined Atlantic Trust in 1998 and is a client relationship manager with 20 years of industry experience. She is an integral member of the wealth management team where she works closely with clients' attorneys and accountants and oversees fiduciary issues and general administration of relationships. She is a member of the Firm's Trust Committee and Discretionary Distributions Committee. Her primary responsibilities are to develop and implement strategies that help individuals and families meet their financial and investment goals. Lisa also supports senior relationship managers on some of our more complex family relationships. Prior to joining the firm, she began her career at Boston Safe Deposit and Trust Company, now BNY Mellon Wealth Management, where she was a trust officer and portfolio manager. In this role, she was responsible for the investment and trust administration for investment management accounts, trusts, and IRAs. She earned a Bachelor of Science from Northeastern University and is a graduate of the New England School of Banking at Williams College.

Joanne Papangelis, CFP®TM

Joanne is a senior client service manager responsible for managing client portfolios and implementing strategies designed to assist clients in reaching their financial goals. She also serves as a technical resource for many of our senior relationship managers. Prior to joining Atlantic Trust in 1999, she worked at Putnam Investments as a senior performance analyst in the offshore/international performance and analytics group and as a senior compliance analyst for the retail and institutional funds. After graduating from Regis College with a Bachelor of Arts in management and a minor in communications, she started her career in the financial services field at Mellon Bank in the institutional accounting division. Joanne is a CFP® professional and is a member of the Financial Planning Association.

Sidney F. Queler
Managing Director
Sid Queler is a senior client development professional, leading the business development, marketing and public relations initiatives for Atlantic Trust's Boston office. He also serves as a relationship manager for clients. Sid has more than 19 years of experience in meeting the investment management, trust and estate needs of high-net-worth families. Before joining Atlantic Trust in 2004, Sid served as a regional business consultant for Curian Capital and a director of business development for the Capital Management Group at Avatar Associates, a division dedicated to high-net-worth individuals, institutions and their financial professionals. Previous to this he served as a national sales and marketing manager at BTS Asset Management. Sid serves as vice-chair for the board of overseers at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and is a member of the Boston Symphony Orchestra Partners Committee. Sid is also a member of the Boston Estate Planning Council. He earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Elmira College.

Eric S. Riak, CFP®
Managing Director
Eric Riak is a senior client relationship manager focusing on clients that require complex tax and investment strategies. He works closely with clients' outside advisors and oversees the overall asset allocation and customized reporting of portfolios. Eric is also a member of the firm's Multi-Manager Investment Committee, which reviews and approves long-only and alternative asset class managers used in client portfolios. Prior to joining Atlantic Trust in 1998, Eric was a senior accountant in Executive Monetary Management's tax consulting group. He has 17 years of industry experience and started his career in Arthur Andersen's personal financial planning group. Eric is a member of the Board of Investments of the First Unitarian Society of Newton. He earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Washington University and holds the Certified Public Accountant designation and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Massachusetts Society of CPAs, and the Financial Planning Association. Eric also serves as treasurer on the board of the West Newton Little League, a local children's baseball league.

Judith A. Saxe
Managing Director
Judith Saxe is a managing director in Atlantic Trust's Boston office, serving as a senior wealth strategist and client service manager. She works with clients and relationship managers to develop comprehensive estate and financial plans and integrated wealth management solutions. Judith has over 20 years of experience designing sophisticated estate plans for high net worth individuals, corporate executives, closely held business owners and multinationals. She joined Atlantic Trust in 2003 from Ernst & Young LLP, where she served as the New England area director of estate and business succession planning. Prior to this position, Judith was an estate planning attorney at a major New York firm. Judith was named a Massachusetts "Super Lawyer" in estate planning by Boston Magazine and is active in the Boston legal community. She has chaired or been a panelist for numerous seminars for Massachusetts Continuing Education (MCLE) and is a contributor to MCLE's publications. In 2009, Judith was elected as a senior Executive Officer of the Boston Estate Planning Council (BEPC). She also has served on the Professional Advisory committee for the Boston Foundation. Judith is a member of BEPC and the Boston Bar Association and earned a Bachelor of Arts with honors from Harvard University and a Juris Doctorate from New York University School of Law. In 2008, she received the Accredited Estate Planner (AEP) designation by the National Association of Estate Planning Councils. Judith serves as a mentor for Harvard undergraduates and as a member of the Wellesley Mother's Forum and the Professional Women's Group of the Combined Jewish Philanthropies.

Amy K. Scofield
Associate Vice President
Amy Scofield is a client service analyst in the Atlantic Trust Boston office, bringing 10 years of investment experience to the firm. Her role focuses on working with clients to determine asset allocation needs, as well as performance analysis and reporting. Prior to joining Atlantic Trust in 2008, Amy worked as a compliance officer for State Street Global Advisors. In this capacity, she worked with portfolio managers to ensure all funds were in compliance with applicable securities laws and governing documents. Amy began her investment career at Investors Bank and Trust in 1999, where she acted as a supervisor in mutual fund accounting for Goldman Sachs and Mass Mutual funds. She graduated cum laude from Boston College, with a Bachelor of Arts in economics.

Matthew D. Sheers
Associate Vice President
Matthew Sheers is an associate relationship manager in Atlantic Trust's Boston office. In this role he works closely with senior relationship managers to provide focused, diligent service to high net worth individuals and families. His responsibilities include implementing and monitoring asset allocation strategies as well as preparing and presenting client portfolio reviews. Prior to joining Atlantic Trust in 2006, Matthew earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Wheaton College, and he continues to serve as a mentor for current students and recent graduates. He is currently a Level III candidate in the Chartered Financial Analyst program.

Aaron B. Shields

Aaron is a manager of tax reporting services in the Boston office with 11 years of industry experience. In this role, he manages tax reporting and has oversight of trust administration and fiduciary compliance. Aaron finds his work to be exciting and challenging providing the opportunity to integrate his knowledge in taxation, trust, investment and financial planning in order to meet the goals and needs of his clients. Prior to joining Atlantic Trust in 2000, he was a client service manager at State Street Bank Wealth Management Services. Aaron earned a Bachelor of Science in finance from the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth, a Juris Doctorate from Roger Williams University and a Master of Business Administration in business management from Suffolk University. He is a Certified Trust and Financial Planner, a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, and a volunteer for Blackstone Valley Advocacy Center.

Patricia A. Bannan, CFA
Managing Director
Patricia Bannan is a managing director and senior investment specialist responsible for building and leading the marketing effort for the Disciplined Equity team and for overseeing the relationship with the Large Cap Growth management team. Prior to joining Atlantic Trust in 2007, Patricia was with Evergreen Investments where she managed large core portfolios for the mutual fund and wealth channels and was head of the large cap core growth team. She began her career in 1982 at Phoenix Investment Counsel, where she served in analytical, portfolio management and leadership roles. Her experience has been centered on the analysis and portfolio management of large cap quality companies serving the mutual fund, institutional and wealth management arenas. She has also held senior portfolio management positions at Prudential Investments and CGU Investments. Patricia graduated from the Whittemore School of Business and Economics at the University of New Hampshire with a Bachelor of Science in business administration with an economics concentration. She also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. Patricia currently serves on the Dean's advisory board for the business school at the University of New Hampshire.

Cathy I. Becker, CFA

Cathy Becker joined Atlantic Trust in 2009 as an investment analyst. She serves dual roles, acting as primary liaison between the AIM Large Cap team and Atlantic Trust’s relationship managers, and providing research and analysis to the Disciplined Equity and Mid-Cap Growth teams. While she serves as a generalist, her primary emphasis is on healthcare, leveraging her 25 years of experience and extensive expertise in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical equipment and supply industries. Additionally she has covered consumer discretionary, technology services and energy stocks. Prior to joining Atlantic Trust, Cathy held senior research and portfolio management positions at Evergreen Investments and Ashford Capital Management and senior analytical positions at Alex Brown and Sons and Adams, Harkness and Hill. Cathy graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Science in finance. She holds the Charter Financial Analyst designation.

Sean R. Brophy
Associate Vice President
As an investment analyst with Atlantic Trust's Proprietary Investment Team, Sean Brophy focuses on portfolio management and execution, as well as risk and quantitative analysis. Sean has 10 years of experience in the financial industry and prior to joining our firm in 2004, worked as a client service manager at State Street Wealth Management Services. Upon joining Atlantic Trust, he became an operations associate and performance analyst. Sean currently attends Northeastern University and will earn his Bachelor of Arts in 2009.

Christopher J. Lanouette, CFA

Chris is a fixed income portfolio manager and trader responsible for the analysis, trading and management of Atlantic Trust portfolios. Prior to joining Atlantic Trust, he was a portfolio manager and fixed income trader at Congress Asset Management in Boston, where he was responsible for the implementation and execution of investment decisions for institutional and high-net-worth portfolios. In addition, he was a member of the firm's investment policy committee, responsible for the firm's fixed income asset allocation, including tactical and strategic investment decisions. Chris graduated from Hartwick College with a Bachelor of Arts in management and accounting. Additionally, Chris holds the CFA designation.

Stephen T. Mahan
Head of Americas Equity Trading
Steve Mahan is head of the Americas Equity Trading Desk, which is Invesco's Atlanta-based, multi-disciplinary trading hub that provides Atlantic Trust's relationship and portfolio managers with access to efficient and effective trading resources, global liquidity and investment research. Steve is also the senior trader for the Consumer Staples / Discretionary sector. He began his career in the industry as a registered representative with Olde Discount Brokerage in 1994 and joined Invesco Aim in 1995 as a listed trader. Steve received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a member of NYSE Institutional Traders Advisory Committee (ITAC) and holds a Series 7 and 63 licenses.

John E. Maloney
Vice President
John Maloney is a fixed income portfolio manager and trader with 22 years of industry experience and is responsible for the analysis, trading and management of Atlantic Trust portfolios. Prior to joining Atlantic Trust in 2005, he was vice president portfolio manager at Back Bay Advisors L.P. in Boston. In this role he was responsible for the implementation and execution of all investment decisions for their Taxable and Tax Exempt Money Market Funds. John graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a Bachelor of Arts in economics.

Patrick J. McLaughlin
Vice President
Patrick McLaughlin is a senior investment analyst responsible for investment manager due diligence and selection within the Multi-Manager Investment Program's traditional investments team. Patrick conducts research on external investment managers in a variety of asset classes, including long-only domestic and international equities, fixed income and commodities. Prior to joining Atlantic Trust in 2007, Patrick worked as a corporate finance analyst for BB&T Capital Markets, where he specialized in building and analyzing complex financial models and transactions scenarios. He started his career as a strategy consultant in Capgemini's wealth management practice, helping to author the Capgemini/Merrill Lynch World Wealth Report. As a graduate of Tufts University, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics with honors. He is currently enrolled in the CFA program.

Jigar Patel, CFA
Senior Vice President
Jigar Patel is a senior investment analyst responsible for hedge fund strategy research within the Multi-Manager Investment Program's Alternatives Investment Team. Prior to joining Atlantic Trust in 2007, Jigar worked as a research analyst for Asset Alliance, a $3.2 billion hedge fund of funds, analyzing hedge fund strategies. He also assisted the head of research in portfolio construction and hedge fund manager due diligence. Prior to Asset Alliance, Jigar worked for Bank of America as an analyst in their interest rate derivatives group. He started his career as an institutional program trader employing quantitative strategies at Bank of New York's QETG trading desk. Jigar is an active committee member of the Boston Society of Security Analysts' Alternative Investment Group and also holds his Series 7, 55 and 63 licenses. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in finance from Rutgers University and a Master of Science in financial engineering with honors from NYU-Polytechnic University and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Jay Pearlstein, CFA

Jay Pearlstein is a senior portfolio and client relationship manager responsible for providing in-depth analytical equity research on a number of industries, including retail and consumer products. Jay is also co-manager of the firm's Mid-Cap Growth Portfolio. Prior to joining Atlantic Trust in 1996, Jay was vice president of the equity research department and a member of the investment policy committee at Loomis, Sayles & Co. Previously, he was a senior auditor for Coopers & Lybrand. Jay's 30 years of industry experience and background give him insight into the compilation of financial data and aids him in his analysis of mid-size companies. Jay currently serves on the executive board of Temple Israel of Natick. He earned his Bachelor of Arts with high honors in accounting from Michigan State University and received the Board of Trustees' Award for graduating first in his class. Jay also earned an Master of Business Administration with distinction from the Harvard University Graduate School of Business Administration. He earned the Chartered Financial Analyst and Certified Public Accountant designations.

Gary E. Pzegeo, CFA

Gary Pzegeo joined Atlantic Trust in 2007 as Head of the Fixed Income Team, where he focuses on portfolio management, trading, policy formulation and client service. Gary has 20 years of experience working in the industry and began his career at Evergreen Investments in 1990. In this role he functioned as managing director and head of the investment grade bond team performing portfolio management, credit and securitized market analysis, and taxable and municipal cash management. Subsequently, he was with Gannett, Welsh & Kotler as a vice president, portfolio manager and head of taxable bonds, where he created and implemented a disciplined investment process, credit and account analysis tools and developed customized fixed income products for the high-net-worth client base. Gary joined Atlantic Trust from recurrent employment at Evergreen Investments, where he functioned as senior portfolio specialist and senior portfolio manager of high yield bonds, where he was responsible for developing macro portfolio themes and enhancing the risk management and security selection process for high yield, and multi-sector fixed income disciplines while providing sales and client service support. Gary earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts. In addition, he holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Institute.

Bryan G. Reilly
Senior Vice President
Bryan is an equity analyst focusing on mid-cap equities. Prior to joining equity research, Bryan was a member of the Multi-Manager Program at Atlantic Trust. There he was responsible for evaluating and selecting non-proprietary, long-only, domestic and international equity managers across market capitalization and style categories. He joined the firm in 2003. Prior to joining, Bryan was a principal and research analyst at State Street Global Advisors in the Advisor Strategies Group. In that role, Bryan provided investment support for the firm's ETF, mutual fund, and separate account strategies in addition to conducting investment & capital markets research. Prior to this, Bryan worked in that firm's Global Asset Allocation group which managed approximately $18 billion for institutional pension, foundation, and endowment clients. Bryan received a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Bryant College and a dual Master in Business Administration and Master of Science in Finance degree from Northeastern University.

Douglas L. Rogers, CFA

Doug Rogers is co-manager of Atlantic Trust's Disciplined Equity Strategy, which he has managed since inception. In addition, Doug's research coverage includes real estate investment trusts (REITs), quantitative research and performance analysis. He has been a member of the firm's Asset Allocation Committee since its inception in 1999 and develops asset allocation strategies and analysis for the firm. Doug's prior portfolio management experience comes from co-managing the firm's Convertible Securities Portfolio from 2001 to 2003. Before joining Atlantic Trust in 1998, Doug was a performance analyst at the Private Bank of Boston, where he was responsible for performance measurement of institutional accounts, creating a screening process for outside managers and running case-by-case asset allocation optimization. Today, Doug has 16 years of industry experience and uses these acquired skills to analyze and monitor the portfolios risk/return relationship, perform quantitative market studies and run performance attribution. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the Boston Security Analysts Society. He graduated from Lehigh University with a Bachelor of Science in finance. Doug is an active Cub Scout leader and also coaches a local soccer and baseball team.

Daniel Skolochenko

Dan Skolochenko is a Fixed Income portfolio manager and trader in our Boston office. Dan has 12 years of industry experience, holding fixed income investment positions at The Boston Company and MFS Investment Management prior to joining Atlantic Trust in 2005. He has a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a Master of Science in Finance from Boston College.

Bas Solleveld
Vice President
Bas Solleveld is an investment analyst in the Multi-Manager Investment Program. His responsibilities include, but are not limited to, private equity and real estate manager due diligence and selection, in addition to monitoring approved manager performance and analysis of those illiquid markets. In collaborating with relationship managers and their clients, Bas seeks to find the most appropriate alternative asset managers within the framework of clients' risk tolerance and asset allocations. He joined Atlantic Trust in 2004 in the client strategies group, where he was responsible for client reporting and portfolio optimization. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from Franklin & Marshall College.

Ohm M. Srinivasan, CFA
Senior Vice President
Ohm Srinivasan is a senior investment analyst responsible for hedge fund research within the Multi-Manager Investment Programs (MMIP) Alternative Investment Team based in Boston. He is also responsible for constructing and managing hedge fund of funds portfolios. He has nine years of industry experience and prior to joining Atlantic Trust in 2008, was vice president of investments for Battersby Capital Management where he was co-head of hedge fund research. His responsibilities included manager research, portfolio construction, risk management and hedge fund of funds development at Battersby. He was also the portfolio manager of the systemic hedge book trading equity options and credit swaptions against the portfolio of hedge funds. Previously, Ohm was a senior trader at Cornerstone Trading for six years managing multiple portfolios employing event-driven, volatility arbitrage, options market-making, and quantitative equity market-neutral hedge fund strategies. He earned a Bachelor of Science in economics from the University of Michigan and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Linda N. Tran
Senior Trader
Linda Tran is the dedicated senior trader for Atlantic Trust on the Americas Equity Trading Desk, which is Invesco's Atlanta-based, multi-disciplinary trading hub that provides Atlantic Trust's relationship and portfolio managers with access to efficient and effective trading resources, global liquidity and investment research. Linda is also the senior trader for the Industrials sector. She has been working with Invesco for 11 years, starting in 1998 as a trading intern. Linda received a Bachelor of Business Administration with a minor in Finance from the University of St. Thomas.

Frederick L. Weiss, CFA
Managing Director
Fred Weiss is a senior investment professional and leads the research efforts of the firms investment team. Fred is also co-manager of the firms mid-cap growth strategy. He is responsible for researching the technology and health care sectors of the market. He came to Atlantic Trust in 1989 from Adams, Harkness & Hill, where he was a vice president and senior analyst covering the technology and health care sectors. Fred has been recognized for his work by Institutional Investor Magazine in their rating of national buy-side research professionals. He is a member of the Boston Security Analysts Society and of the Healthcare, Technology, and Chemicals Analysts Societies. Fred is also a member of the DeCordova Museums Business Council and serves on the board of trustees at the Cambridge School of Weston. Freds involvement in the investment community complements his extensive experience in securities analysis and research. He earned an Artium Baccalaureatus magna cum laude from Harvard College and a Master of Business Administration with honors from Harvard Business School. Fred holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Timothy J. Majer
Operations Director
Tim Majer is an operations director for Atlantic Trust with 14 years of industry experience. In his role, Tim is responsible for overseeing all aspects of trust operations, performance measurement and project management across the firm. He joined Atlantic Trust in 2007 as the head of the project management office. Prior to joining the firm, Tim was a vice president at State Street Corporation, where he held a variety of positions in operations, client service and information technology. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Vermont, where he graduated with honors with a double major in Economics and Political Science. Tim is active within the UVM Alumni Association and enjoys coaching within his sons' local sports leagues.

Michael McGrath
Vice President
Mike McGrath is the manager of information technology for Atlantic Trust. With 15 years of experience in the financial services industry, Mike leads a team of IT professionals responsible for the development of business systems solutions for the firm. In this role, Mike also serves as a liaison for Atlantic Trust with the Invesco Information Technology team. Mike joined the firm in 2005 as the manager of Atlantic Trust's project office. Prior to this, Mike worked as an IT project lead and senior business systems analyst with John Hancock Financial Services. He received a Bachelor of Science from Roger Williams University and earned a Masters of Business Administration from Northeastern University.

Keith M. Willar
Senior Vice President
Keith Willar is the manager of performance analysis for Atlantic Trust. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the performance measurement function, which includes maintenance of the firm's composites, managing the performance team, monitoring the system used to calculate client account performance and representing Atlantic Trust on the Invesco GIPS steering committee. Keith has 13 years of industry experience and joined Atlantic Trust in 2004 from State Street Corporation, where he was a business analyst. Keith earned a Bachelor of Science in accounting from the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth and a Master of Business Administration from Suffolk University.
