David L. Donabedian, CFA
Chief Investment Officer
Dave
Donabedian is chief investment officer of Atlantic Trust, returning
to the firm in 2009 after serving as chief investment officer
for Ashbridge Investment Management, LLC since 2006. Previously,
he worked with Atlantic Trust for ten years from 1996 to
2006 as managing director and chief economist. Over that
period, he served as a key member of our firms Asset Allocation,
Multi-Manager and Investment Policy Committees and led our Baltimore
and Washington, D.C. offices. Since leaving our firm to become
CIO at Ashbridge, Dave has expanded his experience, establishing
and implementing broad investment policy across the firm, including
policy development, asset allocation and manager selection. He
also served as chairman of Ashbridges Investment Committee.
Dave received a Bachelor of Science in economics and a Bachelor
of Arts, with honors, from The Wharton School at the University
of Pennsylvania. He subsequently earned a Master of Business Administration
from Columbia University Graduate School of Business with a concentration
in finance and money markets. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst
and a member of the CFA Institute.

Andrew G. Nichols
Managing Director
Andrew Nichols is a senior relationship manager and head of the Baltimore office of Atlantic Trust. he has 32 years of experience in helping high-net-worth families with their wealth management and fiduciary needs. Andrew is a member of the Baltimore Estate Planning Council, the AJC Planned Giving Round Table and a past member The Walters Art Museum Planned Giving Advisory Council. Prior to joining Atlantic Trust in 1997, Andrew spent 15 years at the Mercantile-Safe Deposit & Trust Company where he headed The Family Office Group. He earned a bachelor of arts from Tulane University, a master of science in administration from Georgia College and a Juris Doctorate from Mercer University. Andrew is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the Maryland State Bar Association and the American Bar Association.

Crystal L. Herring
Senior Associate
Crystal Herring is a client service manager responsible for office management, as well as ongoing daily account administration duties in the Baltimore office. In this role, she works closely with senior client service managers and relationship managers to provide comprehensive client service for both trusts and personal accounts. Prior to joining Atlantic Trust in 2007, Crystal worked as an operations manager at Bond Business. Crystal is currently working to earn both a bachelors degree in business administration from the University of Maryland and a trust certificate from the Cannon Financial Institute.

Kyle W. Marotta
Senior Associate
Kyle
Marotta is an associate relationship manager in Atlantic Trust’s
Baltimore office. In this role, he works on client investment
portfolios by analyzing financial needs, setting objectives and
determining risk tolerance in order to create an appropriate asset
allocation and investment plan. Prior to joining Atlantic Trust
in 2007 he was a staff accountant at Bond Beebe Accountants and
Advisors. Kyle earned a bachelor of arts in business administration
from McDaniel College and is currently pursuing an MBA in finance
from The Sellinger School of Business at Loyola University Maryland.
Additionally, Kyle enjoys volunteering for VITA, a national IRS
income tax assistance program.

Roseanna M. Ritmiller
Senior Vice President
Rose Ritmiller is a senior client service manager in the Baltimore office with over 43 years of experience in the investment management and financial services industry. She has spent the majority of her career working in trust departments, where she has held management positions in Trust Operations, Trust Administrations, Trust Compliance and Institutional Custodial Services. Before joining Atlantic Trust in 1996, she spent 30 years with Maryland National Bank. During her tenure there, she managed several conversion projects including multiple trust systems, capital budget and payroll. Her last three years with the bank were spent as director of Payroll Services, where she was responsible for a global payroll of 20 companies. She has completed the Cannon Trust School's three year program.

Joanne S. Ryals
Senior Vice President
Joanne Ryals is a senior client service manager in the Baltimore office with 30 years of industry experience. In this position, she works with senior management and relationship managers while focusing on client service. Prior to joining Atlantic Trust in 1995, she worked at Security Trust Company in trust custody administration and prior to that she was with M & T Bank managing the Trust Accounting Operations group. Joanne has also completed the Cannon Trust School's three year program. She is the treasurer for Community United Methodist Church and volunteers with various outreach programs through her church.
