Eric B. Propper, CFA
President and COO
Eric Propper is president and chief operating officer of Atlantic Trust, with more than 31 years of industry experience. He serves on the firm's Operating, Asset Allocation and Multi-Manager Investment committees. He is also a senior relationship manager and head of Atlantic Trust’s New York office. In these roles, Eric oversees a team of investment and client service professionals and provides comprehensive portfolio and wealth management for high net worth individuals, foundations and endowments. He joined the firm in 1998 from J. Bush & Co., previously spending 10 years with Shearson Lehman Brothers and E.F. Hutton & Co. Eric earned a Bachelor of Arts from Hobart College and a Master of Business Administration from Columbia University. He served as a trustee for the Long Wharf Theatre in New Haven, Connecticut. Currently, Eric is a member of the Stamford Society of Security Analysts and a director of NeuroGenomex, Inc. in Madison, Wisconsin. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
Marc Keller
Managing Director
Marc Keller is a senior relationship manager and head of Atlantic Trust's New York office, with more than 40 years of investment experience. Most recently, Marc served as the president and chief investment officer of Whitehall Asset Management, where he was responsible for all of the investment activities and operations of the firm. Prior to joining Whitehall, he was founder of Delphi Asset Management, which was acquired by IBJ Whitehall Bank and Trust in 1998. Marc has also held positions as an investment advisor and vice president of Mitchell Hutchins and as a vice president at Kuhn Loeb. Marc earned a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Master of Business Administration in finance from Stanford University. Additionally, Marc is the Finance Committee chairman for the NYRA Backstretch Pension Fund, a board member for the After School All-Stars, a board member of Anna House and on the board of Partial Comfort Theatre.
Francis S. (Skip) Branin, Jr.
Managing Director
Skip Branin is a senior relationship and portfolio manager in Atlantic Trust's New York office, with more than 43 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining the firm in 2002, Skip served as managing director and chief executive officer of Brundage, Story & Rose, LLC, which was subsequently acquired by Bessemer Trust in 2000. He also served as an investment manager and investment research officer with J&W Seligman & Co. Skip began his career in investment management as a research analyst with Harris Upham & Co. Skip earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Business Administration in finance from New York University's Stern School of Business. Among other positions, he currently serves as chairman of the board of trustees of St. George's School in Newport, Rhode Island, and treasurer of the board of Monmouth Medical Center Foundation. He is a member of the board of directors of Glen Raven Inc., governor of Sea Bright Beach Club and a director of The Island School, a charter school in Florida.
J. Haywood Davis
Managing Director
Haywood Davis is a managing director serving as a senior relationship manager for Atlantic Trust’s New York office, with more than 38 years of industry experience. In addition to overseeing his own clients, Haywood is responsible for working closely with investment management professionals and other relationship managers to ensure that new clients' investment management and planning needs are met. Prior to joining Atlantic Trust in 2003, Haywood spent 30 years with JP Morgan, where for the latter 16 years he was in the firm's Private Bank, most recently as head of Southeast private banking business. Haywood earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina, where he was a Morehead Scholar, and a Master of Business Administration from Columbia University. He is very active in a number of private family foundations and other eleemosynary organizations. Haywood has served as a trustee of the William R. Kenan Charitable Trusts and currently serves as a director of various Kenan Family Funds. In addition, he currently serves through the boards and respective finance committees for Brookgreen Gardens, MDC Inc., the University of North Carolina Press and Old Salem Museum & Gardens.
Bruce D. Katz, CFP®
Director of Strategic Alliances
Bruce Katz is the director of strategic alliances for Atlantic Trust, with more than 26 years of industry experience. In this role, he works to strengthen existing relationships and identifies and develops new opportunities for business alliances with external partners for Atlantic Trust’s 11 locations nationwide. Bruce is also a managing director responsible for numerous client relationships throughout the firm. He works with individuals, endowments, institutions and intermediaries. Prior to joining Atlantic Trust in 2001, Bruce served as a first vice president for Avatar Associates and as director of the Capital Management Group, a division dedicated to high net worth individuals, institutions and their financial professionals. He was also a member of Avatar's investment committee. Previously, Bruce served as a vice president with Mitchell Hutchins Asset Management, Inc., and started his professional career with Ernst & Young. He earned a Bachelor of Science in accounting and finance from the State University of New York at Binghamton and holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation. Bruce serves on the boards of and volunteers with several charitable organizations.
Alexandra L. Fuhrmann, CFA
Managing Director
Alexandra Fuhrmann is a senior portfolio manager in the New York office. She joined Atlantic Trust in 2002 and is a managing director responsible for providing comprehensive portfolio and wealth management for high net worth individuals and their families. Alexandra has more than 18 years of industry experience and is a member of Atlantic Trust’s Asset Allocation Committee. Prior to joining the firm, Alexandra served as a vice president and portfolio manager with Bessemer Trust, where she co-managed more than 300 client portfolios with an aggregate value of approximately $500 million. Alexandra joined Bessemer through its acquisition of Brundage, Story and Rose, where she was responsible for managing equity and balanced portfolios for high net worth individuals and their families. Previously, Alexandra was employed at the World Economic Forum in Geneva, Switzerland. She began her career analyzing local market trends for Salus Management, a firm brokering joint ventures in Ukraine. Alexandra earned a Bachelor of Arts cum laude with a concentration in applied mathematics and statistics from Harvard University. She holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts and the CFA Institute.
Jonathan K. Kadish, CFP®, ChFC

Jonathan Kadish is a senior relationship manager based in New York, and is also the chief trust officer for the New York office, with more than 27 years of industry experience. He provides a broad range of sophisticated wealth management services to high net worth clients throughout the country. Jonathan serves on Atlantic Trust’s trust committee, discretionary distribution and loan committee and is a member of the Wealth Strategies Group. Prior to joining the firm in 2003, Jonathan served as a senior vice president and client account manager at Bessemer Trust Company, where he was responsible for advising clients on wealth, financial, tax, estate planning, investment and asset allocation strategies. Jonathan earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Rutgers University with concentrations in finance and accounting. He is a graduate of the American Bankers Association Employee Benefits Trust and Graduate Trust School, Cannon Personal Trust and Personal Graduate Trust School. He also completed the College for Financial Planning certification professional education program, and the American College course program for Chartered Financial Consultants. He has earned designations as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM, a Chartered Financial Consultant, an Accredited Wealth Management Advisor, a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor, a Certified Retirement Services Professional and a Certified IRA Services Professional. Craig H. Lambdin, CFA

Craig Lambdin is a senior relationship and portfolio manager with more than 31 years of industry experience. He joined Atlantic Trust in 1995 from the Bank of New York, where he served as a vice president and senior portfolio manager responsible for managing portfolios for individual and institutional clients. Previously, Craig served as an investment associate with Brundage, Story and Rose Investment Counsel, where his responsibilities included portfolio management and research analysis. Craig began his career in 1980 as an investment officer with First Fidelity Bancorporation. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics and government from Dartmouth College and a Master of Business Administration in finance from New York University. Craig also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst and Chartered Investment Counselor designations. He is a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts and the CFA Institute.
Paulina Mejia
Managing Director
Paulina Mejia is a wealth strategist in Atlantic Trust’s New York office, with more than 11 years of trusts and estates practice and advisory experience working with high net worth clients and related tax-exempt institutions. Paulina works directly with clients and their advisors to develop and implement charitable, estate and wealth transfer and management planning as part of Atlantic Trust's integrated wealth management process. Prior to joining the firm in 2011, Paulina was a wealth planner with Brown Brothers Harriman & Co.’s New York wealth management office, where she worked with clients and their advisors to develop wealth transfer and business succession plans. Previously, she practiced at the law firm of Carter Ledyard & Milburn LLP in New York. Paulina received her Juris Doctorate from Boston College Law School and graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts from Boston College. She serves on several boards and committees including the editorial advisory board and the Family Business Committee for Trusts & Estates magazine. Paulina is also a member of the Estate and Gift Taxation Committee of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York and the Public Preparatory Network's Leadership Council, which she co-founded.
Jay Vawter, CFA, CIC

Jay Vawter is a senior relationship manager with more than 55 years of industry experience as a senior portfolio manager. Prior to joining the firm in 1977, he worked for Loomis Sayles and Co. of Washington, D.C. in investment counseling as well as in the investment department of Protective Life Insurance Corporation in Birmingham, Alabama. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Business Administration from the University of Michigan. Jay holds both the Chartered Financial Analyst and the Chartered Investment Counselor designations. He also serves on the boards of Princeton Theological Seminary (Trustee Emeritus), the Center of Theological Inquiry and the Princeton Symphony Orchestra. He is currently involved with the Stony Brook Millstone Watersheds Association, the Nassau Presbyterian Church, the Opera New Jersey advisory board, SAVE—an animal rescue charity—and Delaware and Raritan Greenway—a land preservation organization. He is the former chairman of the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts, where he was honored with the C. Sheppard Award. Previous board memberships include the Financial Analysts Federation, the Washington Society of Investment Analysts (president), the Historical Society of Princeton, New Jersey, Warren Wilson College and the American Boychoir School. He co-authored Managing Investment Portfolios: A Dynamic Process, a book used in the CFA program for more than 20 years. Jay is also the author of numerous articles on investments in multiple publications. He taught economics at the University of Alabama, Birmingham, and investment analytics at Samford University in Birmingham.
Edward W. Zimmerman, CIC

Ned Zimmerman is a senior relationship manager and portfolio manager for the New York office, with more than 53 years of industry experience. He spent more than 50 of these years with Atlantic Trust. In his role, he serves the financial needs and objectives of high net worth clients by implementing individually tailored portfolios. Ned began his career as an equity analyst with Value Line Investment Survey. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from Yale University and a Master of Business Administration in finance from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Additionally, Ned holds the Chartered Investment Counselor designation. His past community involvement includes acting as trustee to Smith College and Atlantic Health Systems. He also served as president and chairman of the Investment Advisor Association.
Sandra F. Davies

Sandy Davies is a senior client service manager for Atlantic Trust’s New York office, with more than 33 years of industry experience. In this role, she works closely with high net worth individuals and families to provide comprehensive investment and wealth management service. Prior to joining the firm in 1980, Sandy was an operations manager for Whitehall Asset Management, a division of the Industrial Bank of Japan, and an operations manager for Delphi Asset Management since its inception in January 1980. Since then, Sandy has been the lead on the merger of Campbell Advisors into Delphi Asset Management, the merger of Delphi into Whitehall Asset Management and the on-site coordinator/leader for the merger process of Whitehall into Atlantic Trust Private Wealth Management. She also managed human resources for the teams she helped hire and train. Sandy earned a Bachelor of Arts in English literature from Antioch College.
Laura A. Gallagher

Laura Gallagher is a senior client service manager in Atlantic Trust's New York office, with more than 31 years of industry experience. In this role, Laura interacts with clients to assist them in coordinating cash and security movements, while also responding to administrative inquiries and requests. Prior to joining Atlantic Trust in 1989, she worked as a director of client service with Atalanta Sosnoff Management Corporation and with Mitchell Hutchins as a portfolio assistant. Laura earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Utah. Laura volunteers with both the Community House and The Women's Club of Forest Hills, New York.
Christopher Lombardo, CFA

Chris Lombardo is a client relationship manager and portfolio manager with more than 14 years of experience in the investment management industry. In this role, Chris manages the portfolios of trusts, retirement plans and high net worth individuals and their families. Prior to joining Atlantic Trust in 1999, he worked for Pershing in their separately managed accounts program. Christopher earned a Bachelor of Science in business management, with a concentration in finance, from Binghamton University. He was awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 2007 and is a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts and the CFA Institute.
Kyle D. Edmonds

Kyle Edmonds is a business development officer for Atlantic Trust’s New York office, with more than 16 years of experience, he works not only to develop new relationships with high net worth clients but also to strengthen alliances with key intermediaries. Prior to joining Atlantic Trust in 2003, Kyle was a registered sales associate at Deutsche Bank Alex Brown, the private client services division of Deutsche Bank, where he worked closely with clients throughout the investment process. He earned a Bachelor of Science in economics from the Pennsylvania State University and a Master of Business Administration from New York University's Leonard N. Stern School of Business. Kyle is currently earning the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM designation from New York University.
Anna E. Giannopapas

Anna Giannopapas is a client service manager in Atlantic Trust’s New York office, with more than 12 years of industry experience. In this role, she works closely with investment and relationship managers to provide oversight of day-to-day administration of client accounts to support the office's effort to help clients achieve their financial goals. Prior to joining Atlantic Trust in 2000, she earned a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice from St. John’s University in New York.

In this role, he works to ensure client needs are met through tailored investment strategies. He also acts as a technical resource for senior executives and participates in performance analysis, special reporting and marketing. Margaret Rigal is a client service manager for Atlantic Trust’s New York office, with more than 20 years of industry experience in the financial industry. In this role, she is responsible for the day-to-day management and comprehensive oversight of client accounts. Margaret joined Atlantic Trust in 1992 from Whitehall Asset Management, where she served as assistant vice president. After attending Georgia State University, Margaret studied at the Sorbonne and received a diploma from the University of Paris. She is a member of the Greenwich, Connecticut Historical Society and the Bruce Museum of Science and Arts.

Gordon Ross is a relationship manager and vice president in Atlantic Trust’s New York office, with more than 10 years of industry experience working directly with investors and their families to formulate and manage customized investment strategies and wealth management solutions. Prior to moving to the U.S., Gordon actively managed client portfolios on a daily basis as an investment manager for Bestinvest Brokers in London, one of the United Kingdom’s largest independent wealth management firms. Born and raised in Scotland, Gordon earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics from the University of Durham in England and a Master of Business Administration from the Harvard Business School.
Maria C. Rispoli

Maria Rispoli is a senior client service manager for the New York office, with more than 31 years of experience in the financial industry. In this role, she provides comprehensive client service and fiduciary oversight of personal accounts and trusts while also being responsible for the daily account administration of these family relationships. Maria joined Atlantic Trust in 2004 and initially worked as the executive assistant to the president of Atlantic Trust. Prior to joining the firm, Maria served as an executive assistant within the client services group at Bessemer Trust. The majority of her experience stems from providing client service with Brundage, Story and Rose, an investment counseling firm that was acquired by Bessemer Trust in 2000, where she supported a managing director on investment management accounts, pension trusts, profit-sharing plans and foundations. Maria earned an associate’s degree from the Berkeley School in New York.
Gabrielle D. Bailey

Gaby Bailey serves as counsel for Atlantic Trust, with more than13 years of industry experience. In this role, she provides securities-related and general legal advice to the various business teams at Atlantic Trust. Gaby joined the firm in 2003 from Alston & Bird LLP, where she was an associate in the financial services group. While at Alston & Bird, Gaby focused her practice on the regulation of investment advisors, broker-dealers, private funds and registered investment companies. Prior to working at Alston & Bird, she was an associate with King & Spalding. Gaby earned a Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in history from the University of Richmond and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. She is admitted to the District of Columbia Bar and the State Bar of Massachusetts.
Adam R. Karpf, CFA

Adam Karpf is a portfolio manager for Atlantic Trust’s Master Limited Partnership (MLP) Strategy, including the Fund and MLP separate accounts. He has more than 12 years of experience in the financial services industry and began his career as an analyst for Standard and Poor’s. Adam has been analyzing the MLP sector since 2001, when he became a senior analyst in the equity research team at Lehman Brothers. In 2006 he was ranked number one in the Oil Equipment, Services and Distribution industry in the Wall Street Journal’s “Best on the Street” Survey. In 2005 and 2006, he was a ranked analyst in the Institutional Investor Research All-American Poll. Most recently, Adam was the head of MLP research and a portfolio manager at Magnetar Capital. He earned a Bachelor of Science in finance from Lehigh University and also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
