H. Scott Caven, Jr.
Managing Director
Scott Caven is a senior relationship manager and head of Atlantic Trust's Houston office, with more than 42 years of experience in the financial services industry. Scott's primary responsibilities include overseeing the firm's client service and new business efforts for the Texas region. Prior to joining the firm in 2003, he held a number of positions with Goldman, Sachs & Co. in the Dallas and Houston areas, including vice president and regional manager for Houston, South Texas and Mexico. Scott earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Texas School of Law. Previously, he served as chairman and as a member of the board of regents of The University of Texas System and also chairman of the board of directors of the University of Texas Investment Management Co. (UTIMCO), a more than $25 billion-dollar university system endowment fund.
Daryl M. Allen
Managing Director
Daryl Allen is a senior relationship manager and wealth strategist in the Houston office, with more than 19 years of industry experience. In this role, he works with clients on fiduciary, estate, gift and income tax matters, coordinating such analysis with the investment management process to develop an income, gift and estate tax efficient plan for the growth and transition of clients’ multi-generational wealth. Before joining Atlantic Trust in 2004, Daryl was a practicing attorney, specializing in the areas of probate, guardianship, estate and trust planning and administration, as well as income tax planning. He assisted clients with matters related to moderate and sophisticated estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer tax planning techniques and asset transition income tax planning. Prior to his law practice, he served as a senior accountant with KPMG Peat Marwick. Daryl received a Bachelor of Arts from Southwestern University and a Juris Doctorate cum laude from the University of Houston Law Center. He is also a Certified Public Accountant. He is a member of the Houston Estate and Financial Forum, Houston Wealth Advisory Forum, Houston Business and Estate Planning Council, American Association of Attorney-Certified Public Accountants, Houston Society of Financial Service Professionals, State Bar of Texas, and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Daryl currently serves on the board of visitors for Southwestern University and the board of directors for Camp Aranzazu. Previously, he served on the board of directors for the San Antonio Young Lawyers Association, the Corpus Christi Young Lawyers Association and the Corpus Christi Bar Association.
Krista R. Elizondo
Senior Vice President
Krista Elizondo is senior client service manager in the Atlantic Trust Houston office, with more than 14 years of industry experience. In this role, Krista works closely with both senior management and relationship managers across the firm, with a focus on client service. Prior to joining Atlantic Trust, Krista spent five years with Goldman, Sachs & Co., where she served in several different roles. Most recently, she served as associate regional compliance manager for the southeastern United States, where she was responsible for compliance, legal and regulatory matters.
Ryan C. McCleary, CFA
Senior Vice President
Ryan McCleary is a senior relationship manager with more than 15 years of experience in the financial services industry. Ryan is a member of the Atlantic Trust Asset Allocation Committee. Prior to joining the firm in 2010, Ryan served as vice president and co-portfolio manager with Fruth Investment Management, a Houston-based registered investment advisor, where he also co-managed client service for high net worth individuals and families. Previously, Ryan worked as a vice president and portfolio manager for eight years at King Investment Advisors and served as a member of the firm’s investment advisory group. As a member of this small team, Ryan was responsible for overall positioning and market strategy for the firm. He began his career in the investment business at Beutel Goodman Capital Management, where he worked as an analyst on a $2 billion dollar mid- to large-cap domestic equities portfolio. Ryan earned a Bachelor of Arts from Vanderbilt University and graduated summa cum laude. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Institute.
F. Allen Lyons

Allen Lyons is a wealth strategist in the Houston office, with more than seven years of industry experience. Prior to joining Atlantic Trust in 2008, he worked as a tax and audit associate at Stevens, Henry & Mathews, LLP. Previously, Allen worked as an auditing intern for Grant Thornton. Allen earned a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Louisiana State University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas. Allen’s community involvement includes being a life and active member on several committees of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, a life member of the Houston Golf Association and a member of Young Friends of CanCare.
Bas Solleveld
Vice President
Bas Solleveld is a client relationship manager and investment professional in the Houston office, with more than eight years of industry experience. In this role, he works with clients and their advisors to develop and implement investment and asset allocation strategies. Bas is also a member of Atlantic Trust’s Multi-Manager Investment Committee. Prior to joining the Houston office in 2012, Bas directed the firm’s private equity and real estate investment platforms. In this capacity, he led manager due diligence and selection in addition to monitoring approved manager performance and analysis of those illiquid markets. Collaborating with relationship managers and their clients, Bas sought to find the most appropriate alternative asset managers within the framework of clients' risk tolerance and asset allocations. He joined Atlantic Trust’s Boston office in 2004 in the client strategies group, where he was responsible for client reporting and portfolio optimization. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Franklin & Marshall College.
Shannon F. Stites
Associate Vice President
Shannon is a client service manager in the Atlantic Trust Houston office, with more than 13 years of industry experience. In this role, she works closely with senior relationship managers on the Houston team to provide daily account administration and client service for high net worth individuals, families and foundations. Prior to joining Atlantic Trust in 2004, Shannon worked as a client service associate and branch office administrator at UBS Financial Services.
Joseph A. Cialone, III

Joe Cialone is a client investment analyst in the Atlantic Trust Houston office, with more than five years of industry experience. In this role, he who works closely with relationship managers to provide comprehensive service to high net worth clients, as well as thorough reporting on client accounts. Prior to this role, he spent three years as an analyst intern with Atlantic Trust and one year as an intern with the James A. Baker III Institute for Public Policy. Joe earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science with concentrations in American government and international relations from Rice University.
Ethan Rosenberg

Ethan Rosenberg is a client investment analyst with more than five years of industry experience. In this role, he works closely with relationship managers to provide comprehensive service to high net worth individuals, families and foundations. Prior to joining Atlantic Trust in 2010, he worked as an investment advisor at Zale Capital Management and an equities trader at Assent Capital. Ethan earned a Bachelor of Science in management with concentrations in finance and psychology from Tulane University and was a member of the Kappa Delta Phi Honor Society. He serves as a board member of the M.B. and Edna Zale Foundation in Dallas, Texas.
