Peter J. Ahn, CFA
Managing Director
Peter Ahn is a portfolio manager and an Invesco director
with 14 years of investment experience. Peter joined Atlantic
Trust in 2000 and is responsible for managing portfolios
for individual and institutional clients. Prior to joining
Atlantic Trust, Peter served as a vice president and portfolio
manager at Bankers Trust Company, where he was responsible
for managing portfolios for individual and institutional
clients. Peter earned a Bachelor of Science in applied economics
and business management from Cornell University. He holds
the CFA® designation and is a member of the New York
Society of Security Analysts and the Association for Investment
Management and Research.
Gabrielle D. Bailey
Senior Vice President
Gabrielle Bailey serves as counsel for the Atlantic Trust
Private Wealth Management Division. In this role, she provides
securities-related and general legal advice to the various
business teams at Atlantic Trust. Gaby joined Atlantic Trust
in 2003 from Alston & Bird LLP, where she was an associate
in the financial services group. While at Alston & Bird,
Gaby focused her practice on the regulation of investment
advisors, broker-dealers, private funds, and registered
investment companies. Prior to Alston & Bird, she was
an associate with King & Spalding. Gaby earned a Bachelor
of Arts in history from the University of Richmond and a
Juris Doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania Law
School. She is admitted to the District of Columbia Bar
and the State Bar of Massachusetts.
Francis S. (Skip) Branin, Jr.
Managing Director
Skip Branin is a senior portfolio manager and an Invesco
director. Skip joined Atlantic Trust in 2002 with over 30
years of experience in the financial services industry.
Most recently, Skip served as managing director and chief
executive officer of Brundage, Story & Rose, LLC, which
was subsequently acquired by Bessemer Trust in 2000. He
also served as an investment manager and investment research
officer with J&W Seligman & Co. Skip began his career
in investment management as a research analyst with Harris
Upham & Co. Among other positions, he currently serves
as chairman of the board of trustees of St. Georges
School in Newport, Rhode Island, vice chair of the board
of Monmouth Medical Center Foundation, a member of the board
of directors of Glen Raven Inc., and governor of Sea Bright
Beach Club. Skip earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University
of Pennsylvania and a Master of Business Administration
in finance from New York Universitys Graduate School
of Management.
Jeffrey N. Coe
Managing Director
Jeff Coe is a senior relationship manager and an Invesco
director with over 20 years of investment experience. Prior
to joining Atlantic Trust, Jeff was a managing director
with Whitehall Asset Management, where he was responsible
for managing portfolios for individual and institutional
clients and was a member of the firms investment policy
committee. Before joining Whitehall, Jeff was a managing
director at Delphi Asset Management and a senior vice president
and portfolio manager at Campbell Advisors, Inc. Additionally,
Jeff is a member of the board of directors and chairman
of the investment committee at the Burke Rehabilitation
Hospital in White Plains, New York. Jeff earned a Bachelor
of Arts in economics from Middlebury College and a Master
of Business Administration from Columbia University.
J. Haywood Davis
Managing Director
As a business development professional and an Invesco director,
Haywood Davis is responsible for working closely with experts
throughout the firm to create wealth management solutions
for new clients, ensuring that all their investment and
planning needs are met. Prior to joining Atlantic Trust,
Haywood spent 30 years with JP Morgan, most recently as
head of their southeast private banking business. He also
has extensive experience working with multinational corporate
clients with expertise in Latin America. Haywood is very
active in various community organizations throughout the
southeast, having served as a trustee of the William R.
Kenan Charitable Trust located in Chapel Hill, North Carolina,
and currently serving as a trustee of Brookgreen Gardens,
located in Pawleys Island, South Carolina. He serves
as director of various Kenan Funds and is a member of the
Woodberry Forest School investment committee in Virginia.
Additionally, he is on the board of visitors of the University
of North Carolina and the Kenan Flagler Business School
in Chapel Hill, NC. Haywood earned a Bachelor of Arts from
the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, where he
was a Morehead Scholar, and a Master of Business Administration
from Columbia University.
Alexandra L. Fuhrmann, CFA
Managing Director
Alexandra L. Fuhrmann is a portfolio manager at Atlantic
Trust, formerly Stein Roe Investment Counsel (SRIC), where
she manages assets for high-net-worth individuals and their
families. She also is an Invesco director. Prior to joining
the firm, Alexandra served as a vice president with Bessemer
Trust, where she was responsible for client account management
in the New York Office, co-managing over 300 client portfolios
with an aggregate value of approximately $500 million. Alexandra
joined Bessemer through its acquisition of Brundage, Story
and Rose, where she was responsible for managing equity
and balanced portfolios for high-net-worth individuals and
their families. Previously, Alexandra was employed at the
World Economic Forum in Geneva, Switzerland. She began her
career analyzing local market trends for Salus Management,
a firm brokering joint ventures in Ukraine. Alexandra earned
an AB cum laude with a concentration in applied mathematics/statistics
from Harvard University. She holds the CFA® designation
and is a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts
and the CFA® Institute.
Jonathan K. Kadish, CFP®, ChFC®
Managing Director
Jonathan Kadish is a senior relationship manager and portfolio
manager based in New York, and is the chief trust officer
for the New York office. He also serves as an Invesco director.
Jonathan provides a broad range of sophisticated wealth
management services to high-net-worth clients throughout
the country and internationally. Jonathan joined Atlantic
Trust in 2003, and has 22 years of experience in the financial
services industry. Prior to joining the firm, Jonathan served
as a senior vice president and client account manager at
Bessemer Trust Company, where he was responsible for advising
clients on wealth, financial, tax, estate planning, investment,
and asset allocation strategies. Jonathan earned a Bachelor
of Arts in economics from Rutgers University with concentrations
in finance and accounting. He is a graduate of the American
Bankers Association Employee Benefits Trust and Graduate
Trust School, as well as Cannon Personal Trust and Personal
Graduate Trust School. He also completed the College for
Financial Planning certification professional education
program, and the American College course program for Chartered
Financial Consultants. He has earned designations as a CFP
professional, a Chartered Financial Consultant®, a Certified
Trust and Financial advisor, a Certified Retirement Services
professional, and a Certified IRA Services professional.
Jonathan serves on Atlantic Trusts trust committee,
discretionary distribution and loan committee, and is a
member of the Wealth Strategies Group, where he advises
clients and internal professionals on matters regarding
trusts, financial, and retirement planning issues. Jonathan
also is a member of the American Bankers Association, and
the Financial Planning Association of NY/NJ.
Bruce D. Katz, CFP®
Managing Director
Bruce Katz is a managing director with Atlantic Trust. He
is responsible for business development, sales, and marketing
across all channels including individuals, institutions,
financial planners, consultants, and other intermediaries.
Prior to joining Atlantic Trust, Bruce served as a first
vice president for Avatar Associates and director of the
Capital Management Group, a division dedicated to high-net-worth
individuals, institutions and their financial professionals.
He was also a member of Avatars investment committee.
Previously, Bruce served as a vice president with Mitchell
Hutchins Asset Management, Inc., a subsidiary of Paine Webber,
Inc. Bruce was recently appointed as an Invesco director
because of his demonstrations of leadership, exemplary performance,
and client focus. He earned his Bachelor of Science in accounting
and finance from the State University of New York at Binghamton.
Bruce holds the CFP certification.
Marc Keller
Managing Director
Marc Keller is a senior relationship manager with over 27
years of investment experience. He also is an Invesco senior
director and is a member of the Invesco Leadership Group.
Most recently, Marc served as the president and CIO of Whitehall
Asset Management, where he was responsible for all of the
investment activities and operations of the firm. Prior
to joining Whitehall, he was founder of Delphi Asset Management,
which was acquired by IBJ Whitehall Bank and Trust in 1998.
Marc also has held positions as an investment advisor and
vice president of Mitchell Hutchins and as a vice president
at Kuhn Loeb. Marc earned a Biomedical Engineer from Rensselaer
Polytechnic Institute and a Master of Business Administration
in finance from Stanford University.
Edward C. Kelly
Vice President
Edward joined Atlantic Trust in 2007 as vice president responsible
for developing new business opportunities and solidifying
client relationships by utilizing the knowledge gained from
his 15 years in the investment management industry. Previously,
he was the regional vice president for Nationwide, the regional
business consultant for Curian Capital and a senior vice
president with RTE Asset Management. Ed earned his Bachelor
of Arts from Villanova University.
Craig H. Lambdin, CFA
Managing Director
Craig Lambdin is a senior portfolio manager with Atlantic
Trust and an Invesco director. He joined Atlantic Trust
in 1995 from the Bank of New York, where he served as a
vice president and senior portfolio manager responsible
for managing portfolios for individual and institutional
clients. Previously, Craig served as an investment associate
with Brundage, Story and Rose Investment Counsel, where
his responsibilities included portfolio management and research
analysis. Craig began his career in 1980 as an investment
officer with First Fidelity Bancorporation. He earned a
Bachelor of Arts in economics and government from Dartmouth
College and a Master of Business Administration in finance
from New York University. Craig also holds the CFA®
and Chartered Investment Counselor designations. He is a
member of the New York Society of Security Analysts and
the CFA® Institute.
Eric B. Propper, CFA
Managing Director
Eric Propper is the team executive of the Atlantic Trust
office in New York. In this role, he is responsible for
managing a team of nine investment professionals and their
support staff. Eric also serves as a portfolio manager overseeing
a broad range of client portfolios, including pension and
profit sharing plans, endowment funds, charitable and religious
organizations, individuals, trusts, and other taxable investment
portfolios. He is a member of Atlantic Trusts Executive
Management Committee, the Asset Allocation Committee, and
the Multi-Manager Investment Committee. Eric also is an
Invesco managing director and a member of the Invesco Leadership
Group. Eric joined Atlantic Trust in 1998 from J. Bush &
Co. Previously, he spent ten years with Shearson Lehman
Brothers. Eric earned a Bachelor of Arts from Hobart College
and a Master of Business Administration from Columbia University.
He holds the CFA® designation and is a member of the
Stamford Society of Security Analysts. Eric has served as
a trustee for the Long Wharf theatre in New Haven, CT, and
is active in alumni fundraising for the Choate School.
Sidney Queler
Senior Vice President
Sidney Queler joined Atlantic Trust in 2004, bringing 15
years of wealth management experience to the firm. As Senior
Vice President of Business Development for the Northeast
Region, he is responsible for refining client relationships
as well as cultivating new business opportunities. Prior
to joining Atlantic Trust, Sid served as a Regional Business
Consultant for Curian Capital, Director of Business Development
for The Capital Management Group at Avatar Associates
a division dedicated to high net worth individuals, institutions
and their financial professionals, and National Sales and
Marketing Manager at BTS Asset Management. He earned a BS
in Business Administration from Elmira College. Sid is a
member of the Board of Overseers for the Beth Israel Deaconess
Medical Center.
Margaret V. Rigal
Vice President
Margaret Rigal is a relationship manager with 13 years of
experience in financial services. Based in New York, she
is responsible for the day-to-day management of clients
accounts. Margaret joined Atlantic Trust in 2003 from Whitehall
Asset Management, where she served as assistant vice president.
After attending Georgia State University, Margaret studied
at the Sorbonne and received a diploma from the University
of Paris.
Robert B. Saccone
Senior Vice President
Bob Saccone is a relationship manager and an Invesco director
with 19 years of experience working with mutual funds and
retirement plan products. Most recently, Bob served as a
managing director at Whitehall Asset Management, where his
responsibilities included product development, marketing,
investment consulting, and client services for retirement
plan products and Whitehalls mutual funds. Prior to
joining Whitehall in 1995, Bob was a product manager for
Dreyfus Investments, where he was responsible for product
development and marketing of mutual funds, 401(k), and defined
benefit plans. Bob earned a Bachelor of Science in marketing
from C.W. Post University.
Thomas B. Slaughter, CFA
Managing Director
Tom Slaughter is a senior relationship manager and client
service professional based in New York. Prior to joining
Atlantic Trust, he was a senior advisor and portfolio manager
with Whitehall Asset Management. Tom founded Delphi Asset
Management in 1980, which was subsequently acquired by IBJ
Whitehall Bank and Trust in 1998. Tom also has held positions
as an executive vice president and director of Lehman Management
Company and as a general partner of Kuhn Loeb. In addition,
Tom is the current president of the board of trustees of
the Burke Rehabilitation Hospital. Tom earned a Bachelor
of Science from the University of Virginia. He also holds
the CFA® designation.
Jay Vawter, CFA, CIC
Managing Director
Jay Vawter has nearly 50 years of industry experience with
almost 45 years of experience as a senior portfolio manager
carrying out the financial needs of individuals, trusts,
retirement plans, and endowments. He also serves as an Invesco
director. Prior to his tenure with Atlantic Trust, he worked
for Loomis Sayles and Co. of Washington D.C. in investment
counseling as well as in the investment department of Protective
Life Insurance, Co. in Birmingham, Alabama. He earned his
Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Business
Administration from the University of Michigan and holds
both the Chartered Financial Analyst® and the Chartered
Investment Counselor designations. Jay is currently involved
as a trustee of the Princeton Theological Seminary, the
Center of Theological Inquiry, and Warren Wilson College.
He is also involved with the Stony Brook Millstone Watersheds
Association, the Nassau Presbyterian Church, and SAVE (an
animal rescue charity). He is the former chairman of the
Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts, where he was
honored with the C. Sheppard Award. Previous board memberships
include the Financial Analysts Federation, the Washington
Society of Investment Analysts (president), the Historical
Society of Princeton, New Jersey, the Opera Festival of
New Jersey, and the American Boychoir School. Additionally,
he co-authored Managing Investment Portfolios: A Dynamic
Process, a book used in the CFA® program for over 20
years. Jay is also the author of numerous articles on investments
in multiple publications.
Edward W. Zimmerman, CIC
Managing Director
Ned Zimmerman is a portfolio manager with 48 years of industry
experience and 46 years of company experience. In this role,
he serves the financial needs and objectives of high-net-worth
clients by implementing individually tailored portfolios.
He also serves as co-manager of the firms Core Growth
Portfolio and is an Invesco director. Ned began his career
as an equity analyst with Value Line Investment Survey.
His past community involvement includes acting as trustee
to Smith College and Atlantic Health Systems; furthermore,
he served as president and chairman of the Investment Advisor
Association. He earned his Bachelor of Arts from Yale University
and his Master of Business Administration in finance from
the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Additionally,
Ned holds the Chartered Investment Counselor designation.
