Peter Barrett, CIC
Senior Vice President
Peter Barrett is a portfolio manager and Invesco director
at Atlantic Trust, serving the financial needs and objectives
of high-net-worth individuals, institutions, trusts, foundations,
endowment funds, and pension and profit sharing plans with
individually tailored portfolios. He began his career with
Stein Roe & Farnham in 1958 after two years in the U.S.
Army with the Judge Advocate Generals office. Peter
earned his Bachelor of Science in economics from the Wharton
School of the University of Pennsylvania and his Juris Doctorate
from Northwestern University School of Law. He is a member
of the Investment Analysts Society of Chicago and
the Illinois Bar. Also, Peter is chairman of the Income/Convertible
Securities Ratings Committee. Additionally, he holds the
Chartered Investment Counselor designation.
Adam I. Cohen, CFA
Senior Vice President
Adam Cohen is a fixed income portfolio manager and senior
fixed income analyst responsible for analysis and implementation
of fixed income strategies for both taxable and tax-exempt
bond portfolios. In addition to assisting Atlantic Trusts
portfolio and relationship managers in establishing and
communicating the firms fixed income strategies, Adam
works directly with clients to create investment policy
objectives and guidelines, formulate and implement portfolio
investments, and provide ongoing review of portfolio performance.
He also is an Invesco director. Prior to joining Atlantic
Trust, Adam was a leveraged loan analyst with Fuji Bank
Ltd., where he was responsible for offering opinions to
the banks North American credit committee as to the
overall creditworthiness of highly leveraged businesses.
Adam also served as a credit analyst with Banca di Roma
S.p.A., where he performed in-depth analysis of middle and
large market capitalization companies. Adam earned his Bachelor
of Arts from the College of Wooster and Master of Business
Administration with a concentration in accounting and finance
from Loyola University of Chicagos Graduate School
of Business. He is a member of the CFA® Institute, the
CFA® Society of Chicago, and he holds the CFA® designation.
Charles R. Dale, Jr., CFA, CIC
Senior Vice President
Chuck Dale joined Atlantic Trust in 1993 as a portfolio
manager. He is responsible for providing wealth counseling
services to a broad base of high-net-worth private clients
through the implementation of tailored wealth management
solutions. He also is an Invesco director. Chuck began his
career at Refco, Inc. in Chicago as an arbitrage specialist.
He earned his Bachelor of Arts in economics from the University
of Michigan and his Master of Business Administration from
the University of Chicago. Chuck also earned his CFA ®
designation in 1999. He currently is a member of the CFA®
Institute, the Investment Analysts Society of Chicago, the
University of Michigan Alumni Association, the University
of Chicago Alumni Association, and the University of Chicago
Midway Club.
Jon E. Henderson, CFA, CIC
Managing Director
Jon Henderson is a team executive with Atlantic Trust
and serves as an Invesco senior director and a member of
the Invesco Leadership Group. He is responsible for the
supervision of client portfolios, including pension and
profit sharing plans, endowment funds, charitable and religious
organizations, individuals trusts, and foundations. Additionally,
Jon serves as co-manager of the firm's Chicago office. He
earned a Bachelor of Arts with honors from DePaul University,
where he was elected to the Pi Gamma Mu Social Sciences
Honor Society. He also earned a Juris Doctorate from DePaul
Law School and a Master of Business Administration in finance
from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business. Jon
holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® and Chartered
Investment Counselor designations. Among other organizations,
Jon is a member of the Illinois Bar, Investment Analyst
Society of Chicago, CFA® Institute, and the Investment
Advisors Association.
Thomas E. Keim, CIC
Senior Vice President
Tom Keim is a portfolio manager and Invesco director
with 46 years of industry and firm experience providing
investment advice for individuals, trusts, religious institutions,
foundations, endowment funds, and pension and profit sharing
plans. He is actively involved in the Art Institute of Chicago,
the Yale Alumni Class Council, and other local community
groups and fundraising organizations. Tom earned his Bachelor
of Arts from Yale University and his Master of Business
Administration in finance and marketing from Harvard Graduate
School of Business Administration. Additionally, Tom holds
the Chartered Investment Counselor designation.
Kenneth J. Kozanda
Chief Administrative Officer
Ken Kozanda serves as chief administrative officer and is
a member of Atlantic Trusts Executive Management Committee.
He also serves as an Invesco managing director and a member
of the Invesco Leadership Group. With over 25 years of financial
management experience, Ken is responsible for overseeing
the financial management of the firm. Previously, Ken was
on the board of managers and served as the chief operating
and chief financial officer of Stein Roe Investment Counsel
LLC, prior to its acquisition by Invesco. He has also served
as director of financial analysis for GATX Corporation,
where he was charged with the management of multiple financial
disciplines including budgeting, financial and capital expenditure
analysis, and internal reporting. He began his career as
a staff accountant with Arthur Andersen & Company. Ken
earned a Bachelor of Science magna cum laude from Northern
Illinois University. He also earned a Master of Business
Administration magna cum laude from DePaul University. Additionally,
Ken has earned the Certified Public Accountant designation.
Alfred F. Kugel,
CFA, CIC
Chief Investment Strategist
Al Kugel is a chief investment strategist of Atlantic
Trust and serves as an Invesco director. He is a member
of the firms Investment Committee, which develops
the recommended allocation between asset classes. Al is
also the primary spokesperson for the firm and is a frequent
guest on CNBC. His comments often appear in the print media,
including the Wall Street Journal, Chicago Tribune, Los
Angeles Times, and Dallas Morning News. Additionally, he
is regularly quoted by CBS Radio News, Bloomberg and Reuters.
Al began his career with Stein Roe & Farnham in 1953
as an equity analyst trainee and has served in various roles
in the firm, including junior analyst, senior analyst, and
director of research. He has also served as a member of
the investment policy, equity selection and executive committees.
Al earned a Bachelor of Science from Washington University
in St. Louis and a Master of Business Administration from
Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration. He holds
the CFA® and Chartered Investment Counselor designations.
Lynn C. Maddox, CIC
Senior Vice President
Lynn Maddox is a senior vice president of Atlantic Trust,
where he is responsible for the management of portfolios
for retirement funds, endowments, charitable funds, and
individuals. He also serves as a member of the firms
Investment Committee and as an Invesco director. Prior to
joining Atlantic Trust, Lynn was as a plant manager with
Procter & Gamble. Previously, he served as a first lieutenant
and as an instructor at Redstone Arsenal, teaching confidential
guided missile electronics to foreign officers. Lynn earned
a Bachelor of Science from Georgia Institute of Technology
and a Master of Business Administration from Indiana University.
He also holds the Chartered Investment Counselor designation.
Kathryn L. Martens, CFA, CIC
Senior Vice President
Kathy Martens is a portfolio manager responsible for providing
wealth counseling services to a broad base of high-net-worth
private clients through the implementation of tailored wealth
management solutions. Kathy also serves as an Invesco director.
Kathy began her career at Ameritrust Company in Ohio as
a corporate banking representative, where she graduated
from the corporate banking program. In 1992, Kathy joined
Morningstar, Inc. as product manager responsible for the
design and development of high level software products.
Prior to joining Atlantic Trust in 1998, Kathy was a portfolio
manager and director of research at Cedar Hill associates.
She earned her Bachelor of Arts in finance, accounting,
and economics from Baldwin-Wallace College and her Master
of Business Administration from the University of Chicago.
Kathy also earned her CFA® designation in 1996. Kathy
is a director of the Infant Welfare Society of Chicago,
serving on the investment committee. She currently is a
member of the Association of Investment Management and Research,
the Investment Analysts Society of Chicago, and the American
Association of Individual Investors.
Mark M. McKinley, CFA
Managing Director
Mark McKinley is a senior portfolio manager and an Invesco
director with 16 years of experience in the financial services
industry and 12 years of experience in investment management.
Mark McKinley joined Atlantic Trust in 1998 and has been
a member of the firms Convertible Securities Committee.
Mark is responsible for the management and client communication
on a variety of taxable and tax-exempt client relationships.
Previously, Mark worked for over eight years with The Northern
Trust Company, where he was a portfolio manager for Northern
Investment Counselors. While at Northern Trust, he was chairman
of the black book review and fixed income committees and
a member of the equity committee. Mark graduated cum laude
from Denison University, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree
in economics and political science. He also received a Master
of Management with majors in economics and finance from
the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern
University. Mark is a member of the CFA® Institute,
the Investment Analysts Society of Chicago, and holds the
CFA® designation.
Robert McNeill, CIC
Senior Vice President
Robert McNeill is an senior vice president of Atlantic Trust
and an Invesco director with more than 39 years experience
providing customized personal service to high-net-worth
families. His responsibilities at Atlantic Trusts
legacy firm, Stein Roe Investment Counsel (SRIC), have included
serving as managing partner on the executive committee,
chairman of the investment policy committee, founder of
Stein Roe International, and president of the Stein Roe
Foundation. He is on the board of directors of the Association
of American Rhodes Scholars, Big Shoulders Fund, Catholic
Charities of Chicago, Hadley School for the Blind, and Joan
B. Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies. He also
has served as a principal for a day for Chicago Inner City
Public and Catholic Schools and has participated as a voting
member for 25 years on the U.S. Rhodes Scholarship state
and regional selection committees. He was chairman (1991-97)
and is now a member of the board of governors of the Institute
for the International Education of Students, one of the
nations finest study-abroad programs. He is currently
on the executive committee of the board of directors of
the Chicago Council on Foreign Relations and is a financial
counselor to the Chicago Community Trust. Robert earned
his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Notre Dame,
where he graduated summa cum laude and was valedictorian.
He also received a graduate degree in economics and law
from the University of Oxford (New College), where he studied
after winning a Rhodes Scholarship. Additionally, Robert
holds the Chartered Investment Counselor designation.
Rebecca W. Milliman, JD
Vice President
Rebecca is a wealth strategist and fiduciary representative
for the Chicago office of Atlantic Trust. In this role,
she is responsible for the development of integrated wealth
management plans for clients and provides the fiduciary
administration for individual trusts and foundations. She
also sits on the firms trust committee, a group charged
with reviewing the actions of the local trust committees
regarding asset reviews in discretionary accounts and the
actions of the trust discretionary committee. Rebecca joined
Atlantic Trust from Frye Louis Capital Management, Inc.,
where she was a firm associate responsible for the ongoing
review and assessment of wealthy family financial affairs.
Prior to that, Rebecca practiced law with Katten Muchin
Zavis as an associate in the estate planning and tax department.
She earned her law degree from the John Marshall Law School,
graduating summa cum laude, and her Bachelor of Arts degree
from Drake University.
Kenneth G. Pollard, CFA, CIC
Managing Director
Ken Pollard is a team executive and co-manager of the Chicago
office for Atlantic Trust. In this role, Ken is responsible
for the supervision of client portfolios, including pension
and profit sharing plans, endowment funds, charitable and
religious organizations, individuals, trusts, and foundations.
He also serves as an Invesco senior director and a member
of the Invesco Leadership Group. He earned a Bachelor of
Science in business from Indiana University-Bloomington

the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Ken holds the CFA®

James H. Stacke, CIC

Jim Stacke joined Atlantic Trust in 1968 as a portfolio
manager. He is responsible for providing wealth counseling
services to a broad base of high-net-worth private clients
through the implementation of tailored wealth management
solutions. Jim also serves as an Invesco director, bringing
39 years of industry experience to the firm. He earned his
Bachelor of Science from Yale University and a Master of
Business Administration from the University of Chicago.
Jim is a board member of the Infant Welfare Society of Chicago,
serving on the investment committee. He holds a Chartered
Investment Counselor designation and is a member of the
Investment Advisor Association and the CFA® Institute.
Scott Vogg, CFA, CIC
Managing Director
Scott Vogg is a team executive and an Invesco director in
the Chicago office of Atlantic Trust. Scott is a senior
portfolio manager with 17 years of experience in the financial
services and investment management industry. Scott is responsible
for managing the entire wealth counseling process and relationship
for high-net-worth clients as well as related institutions,
endowments, and foundations. In this role, he is responsible
for providing proactive portfolio management, financial
planning, wealth and estate planning strategies, and all
related services for his clients. He earned his Bachelor
of Business Administration from the University of Iowa and
his Master of Business Administration from Indiana University.
Scott holds the Chartered Investment Counselor and the CFA®
designations, and is a member of the CFA ® Institute
and the Investment Analyst Society of Chicago.
